My family ate here while on vacation. Be prepared to spend about $20 per plate. The food was excellent; however, the service wasn't the best. My kids had to sit at a table near us, and they received very poor service. We will go back,...More

Just as I recalled from 16 years ago. Skillet fried chicken is the only thing to order, and the pan fried corn patties, so good! Lovely staff, reasonable prices and attentive service. Old fashioned, so don't think you're in for an ironic or hip experience....More

Was looking for a good 'Mom and Pop' restaurant in Bardtown. My husband remember a place where he had breakfast when he was in the Army Reservers so luckily we found it again. Ran by the same family and expanded. I had the pork lion...More

We stopped here to have lunch after visiting My Old Kentucky Home. We had the spinach salad which was very good and also had a chicken salad sandwich. The sandwich tasted as if it was from a distributor instead of homemade. The decor of the...More

Five of us rolled in for dinner after 4 hours on our motorcycles. The matriarch greeted us at the door and the family hospitality continued throughout our meal. Several of us had the "Kentucky Brown", made better with bacon! The food and service were wonderful....More

Reservations not required, but it never hurts to call. I don't remember the hours but do remember that they are (or were) closed on Sundays and Mondays, and also from Jan 1 to Mar 1 for the cold season.
