After being in Bardstown for 4 days and having had 4 other "local" suggestions which were not only overpriced, but very poor quality, this, our final local restaurant experience, was an unexpected pleasure. Definitely a quaint, family owned, dining experience. Several generations of family were...More

This place was just OK. Service was rushed and inept. We had the soup and chicken salad and turkey with cheese with soup. Both were average. It's a place famous for dessert. Had the chocolate pie with meringue. Passable, certainly not wonderful. Then, coffee. I...More

All 3 couples agree this restaurant was outstanding. We had six different entrees and they were all delicious.all sides and the biscuit bourbon pudding were terrific. The waitress was friendly and attentive. If ever in the area again, this will be our first choice.

Reservations not required, but it never hurts to call. I don't remember the hours but do remember that they are (or were) closed on Sundays and Mondays, and also from Jan 1 to Mar 1 for the cold season.
