My wife and I recently visited this restaurant for breakfast while doing the bourbon trail. This is exactly the type of country restaurant/bar that you want for comfort food. I had the country breakfast...it was great. I'm pretty picky about my sausage gravy, and this...More
Mammy's has everything you want in a small town restaurant - great food - friendly servers - quaint atmosphere - good prices. I highly recommend the mini KY hot brown for a taste of real Kentucky. They get the cheese sauce right. They also have...More
Went for dinner and was seated in back room. Cool and drafty, slow service and just average food. Chocolate pie was a disappointment....very heavy and burned crust. Coconut cream pie was also heavy and pasty. Went on Pi Day.
We visited twice during our stay in Bardstown. Dinner was so so. We had chicken over cornbread with gravy. Coconut cream pie was better. Breakfast was a better choice. Hubby had biscuits and gravy... delicious. Great service both visits

We went on Pi Day. The pie was average at best. The crust was at best, less than average. The chocolate filling was good, but not great.
My fiend and I had lunch here in October. I had the Reuben and she had a Cheese Burger. We both thought they were made to perfection. I highly recommend it Mammy's Kitchen.
Everything we have eaten has been great. Their deep fried mushrooms and pork skins are great appetizers. All the plates have a home cooked flavor. We love it.
