We ate two meals there and both were excellent! I had chicken fried chicken and a Bourbon glazed burger and felt both were great! My wife had the hot brown twice because it was so good. She felt it was better than the Brown Hotel's where the dish originated. The coconut pie was fabulous!

Not bad but not great. Pork chop was bland. Beer was cold. Steak had a lot of gristle. Price was OK.

Whenever we asked a local what restaurants to visit during our Bourbon Tour vacation, they all said "Mammy's. Well, that was very good information. I tried their bourbon burger which was smothered in this homemade bourbon sauce that was fabulous. I ordered a side of mushrooms to add to the burger, which made it a superior lunch. They sell small... More

My wife and I stopped in for a breakfast. We ordered a hot brown which we heard were terrific here. We waited, and waited...and waited. Seemed like it took a bit. As it turns out when it came, so did the food for everyone else around us who ordered well after us. Young lady forgot to go look for hit.... More

Just ok, average food. Hamburgers were 1/4 pound which is ok, but given the price most places would have a 1/3 to 1/2 pound. French Fries were good. The front part was a stable at one time and rustic. The back section had been added on.

Super friendly and relatively busy, the staff are more than happy to help it a genuine way. If you are struggling to make a decision let them help. I highly recommend the bourbon barrel ale, The fried green tomatoes and the country fried steak and gravy. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere of central Bardstown and all the other... More

When you walk in and people at the bar are eating warm chocolate pie just out of the oven with a glass of cold milk for breakfast, that should tell you something! I had breakfast(which was good) and I took a piece of coconut pie to go. Omg!!! It tasted just like my grandma's, I was in tastebud heaven. The... More

On a sunny evening in April, the front patio was filled. We chose to sit and eat at the bar in god central room, which seemed a little cozier than the back room, which is more-family friendly. Our bartender was busy, but greeted us right away , and was attentive to our needs. We had the special (meatloaf) and the... More
