We stopped for lunch while traveling. The restaurant decor is very simple and basic. We all ordered the chicken strip dinner which came with the salad bar, a roll, and choice of starch. The chicken was good and did not appear to be packaged chicken strips. They were cooked just a tad too long as the crust was bordering on... More

We base quality and taste of all breakfasts away from home to our hometown cafe and this was about as close as we've had during our RV travels the past 3 years. Great food and good value. We would definitely recommend it and will return. Full breakfast for two and one cup of coffee was $15.

Casual atmosphere. Busboy must have been behind as many tables were full of dirty dishes. We did find an empty table and the service and food was excellent. Will probably return again one of these days.

I took my friend here for her birthday. She brought along her little girl and she was being picky about what she wanted to eat. She kept asking for gingerbread men and mom kept telling her they weren't on the menu. The waitress overheard and said they do carry gingerbread men, which made everyone happy. The cook made pancakes in... More

Great food and service. The Patty Melt and fries are my favorite. Best place to eat in Yates Center, give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

The restaurant is in the quaint old town square. After a long day bicycling it hit the spot. The staff was friendly and the food was tasty. It was nice that they had a small bar and it had draft beer. Very reasonably priced.

It is the only player in town, very local but good, it is the local "working person's" place, full of Kansas character without the presumption fancy feel or the sterile corporate fanfare.

I stopped to eat here today and it was very good. The food was good, the service was good and the place has a pleasant atmosphere. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious and has lots of room for seating. I would eat here again.

If you had asked if this was one of the best breakfasts I had eaten then I'd said yes-So glad to have found this in YC so will have a place to stop at when I go to Toronto. Family friendly for sure.
