We had company from out of town and wanted dine at some local BBQ places. The four of us each ordered the sampler. Bad choice. The presentation sucked with all the meats piled on a plate with the bread on top. It was all dry and tasteless. The ham could have just been sliced and had BBQ sauce squirted on... More

They do a pretty good job with the meats. Decent attitude and good fries. I don't care a lot for their sauce. Its decent and I get it when I go, but if I'm at home, I'll use someone else's sauce. I have family who go there JUST for the sauce. But to me its a bit too sweet and... More

Have been going to Wyandotte BBQ for over 30 years and the quality remains the best. Even though prices have gone up it is still well worth it.

We catch Wyandott BBQ whenever we are in the area. The trick is to find the best value and know how to order. My wife and I split the mixed plate and it's plenty for two of us at lunch, unless you are a real power eater. They will substitute if you want, so we skip the ham and get... More

When I travel back to my native KC, I always make sure to get some BBQ. My wife & I had just flown into town and were staying at a family member's house. Wyandot BBQ was just down the road so we decided to grab some for dinner that night after flying in. I hadn't eaten here in years and... More

I hadn't eaten here in years and used to like it. I was running errands and was close by so many thought I would have a quick lunch. Big regrets. The French fries tasted like they were cooked in rancid oil. I was starving and wanted to eat them but even drowning them in ketchup couldn't make them palatable. There... More

I tryed this BBQ place only once and was not impressed. The BBQ beef sandwich was auful as well as the over greasy fries. I didn't even find the tables clean. The sauce was below average.

Definitely nothing to look at building wise but the food is delicious. The burnt ends dinner is so yummie. I wish the could do that in Florida.

I have NEVER had a bad meal here. If I am within 5 miles of OP store, I grab 2 brisket sandwiches to go. It's not fancy, it's plain hot BBQ and Hot fries and a Beer.

Our carry out order: slab of ribs, pulled pork, brisket, burnt ends, beans & slaw. The prices at Wyandot are probably the lowest of any place in KC. I had compared several popular BBQ joints across the board a while back and the meat per pound and rib prices are lower than everyone else. That being said, I'd rather pay... More
