My wife and I ate dinner here April 20th. Reviews had indicated seating in old train dining car was a fun experience but found it to be nothing more than a dimly lit room. The exterior windows were blacked out. My wife's shredded roast beef sandwich was good, but the bottom of the Kaiser roll on which my BBQ beef... More

My husband and I stayed overnight in Dodge City, coming home from our winter home in Phoenix. Decided to eat at a steakhouse, being we were in cattle country. The steaks were great, large, flavorful, and tender. The atmosphere was wonderful. The restaurant looked like a rustic, refurbished train station. We would highly recommend a stop at this restaurant!

Great place for beer and burgers. Often there is live music as well. Good service. Great locally owned place. One of the best in Dodge.

First time through Dodge City. Only had 1 night and a few hours the next morning. Wife wanted to have dinner here, I sorta liked the other place, thought this place might be a little touristy. Wrong. We really had a great time here. The draft beer was cold and served in 22oz (or 16oz) chilled glass. Had the 'mountain... More

I came to Central Station for dinner. Place was fairly busy, but I was quickly seated at the bar since I was a solo group. My drink order was promptly delivered, and my Shrimp Alfredo was served faster than I expected. The food was beyond my expectations with a perfect sear on the shrimp and plenty of alfredo sauce. The... More

We came here with our 4 year old and we ate inside of an actual railroad dining car!!. The bbq brisket was very tender and delicious and we enjoyed the staff. At the end of our visit, the bartender/owner made the railroad bell/lights chime and flash for our daughter.

Was told this was a good restraunt for steaks since it was my friends birthday. Had 4 star reviews but this was not one of them. Didn't open for dinner till 5pm. Waitress was very good and helpful but the steak was awful. For a $23 price it was like eating an old longhorn steak that has been hung out... More

Hello Eleanor, Looking at your review, I was wondering if management was ever contacted to fix these issues. Did your server offer to replace your food or offer a manager to come talk to you? I was working Wednesday night and I was never aware that anyone was that dissatisfied. We are a small family owned business and we never... More

The food here was simply average comparable to the Cracker Barrel but more expensive. The server seemed distracted and unhappy. The only nice part was that we were seated in an actual train car, but only after we requested to be moved there.

This is in the area of an old railroad station & it still has a boxcar in the middle for the restrooms. This is a neat place to eat. Everything is very good & reasonably twice. We went 2 evenings in a row & if you stay at the Best Western Plus, they will give you cards to purchase your... More
