Excellent friendly Iowa service. Good food and good prices. The chef even came out to see what we thought about our lunch. That almost never happens anywhere else I have eaten. Very nice lady and she brought us a special batch of pickled beets she had just finished preparing. Very close to the interstate and recommend stopping in for some... More

Terrible experience. The main dining room was dark. Our waitress wore sweat pants and a scrub top. We were told (elsewhere) the restaurant had changed hands. Obviously. Run down. Dreary. Unremarkable food. Would never eat there again. Ugh!!

We stopped in here on Sunday for breakfast. The food is ordered buffet style except they bring it out to you. The waitress will take your drink orders and then proceed to bring you eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, toast as much as you can eat. not to shabby for $9.99. I would recommend it!

The food was abundant and very good. The service was above and beyond. The setting was quaint and comfortable. Our family was able to visit as long as we wanted. The cost was fairly high and would not be a choice on a regular basis.

Great food, wonderful service, cute little diner! The Amana food that ties into the restaurant set it above the rest! And pie...yummy!

Very good food. We had the biscuits and gravy, something about which I am enthusiastic. It was delicious, and more than enough as far as the portion. The service was very good as well. Very good experience.

Lots of "home cooked" style of selections. Right off the highway for an easy stop on your way across Iowa. Traveling across country we avoided the city restaurant chains and found this little gem. It's near the Amana Colonies so would also be a nice place to eat if you're visiting this historical area. If this doesn't suit you, go... More

This was connected to the hotel and so was very convenient. The breakfast is discounted by the hotel....The prices for large breakfasts were absolutely great ...and really did not need discounting but was appreciated....I would stop there even IF I was not staying there

We had German sausages for dinner and the serving is big with delicious sour kraut. Dinners can order beers from the bar next door.
