My husband and I ate breakfast here for the first time ever. The place was packed if that is any indication of how good the good is. We weren't disappointed. The bacon I ordered was cooked to perfection (crisp but not burned). I line softly scrambled eggs with cheese and they were delicious. I will definitely be back.

Great food pretty much all round but atmosphere and service both need a smile, small joint, hours different call first

Great food in a 50's diner. Very nice people. Super low prices. Best food in town for the money. BUT THEY DO NOT TAKE CARDS. MUST HAVE CASH.. MAKES IT HARD

Our first time here and we were not impressed. We dined at lunchtime, portions were small and food was ok at best. Waitress was rather indifferent and didn't seem to be too much into her job. Place was clean and speed of service was fine. It appears the breakfast may be the way to go. We may come back one more... More

I ordered a taco salad & it wasn't like any taco salad I've ever had. The hamburger had no seasoning in it & also tasted old. The shell was somewhat soggy, not a crispy bowl, & a little too greasy for me.For the price, I didn't get what I paid for. Needless to say, we didn't go back.

We were there for breakfast when we were visiting family. We'll be back again every time were in town. It's great and the local folks know it cause they're always busy!

New to the area, Hubby (age 65) and myself (age 60) have been trying out various establishments and thus had lunch at the Cottage Cafe. In a nutshell, it was pretty bad. My husband ordered a daily special of salisbury steak: +they did give him a homemade dinner roll that he said was o.k. +the mashed potatoes seemed to be... More

The Cottage seems to have caught the cut back fever that is sweeping the restaurant scene nation wide. Smaller portions. Higher prices. It is a shame. The pies are now so sickening sweet as to be mostly inedible. The coleslaw is so salty it had to be sent back. Everything seems like it is being made just to get it... More

We ate a late breakfast at The Cottage Cafe, and it was piping hot and scrumptious. It took a little longer than I am used to, but we came at an unusual time, and they may have needed to fire up the grill for the pancakes. Speaking of pancakes, I got the whole wheat pancakes and loved them, and my... More
