2 of us had quiche which was nasty, not like any I have had before ( it was supposed to be the special) don't know how to make traditional hash browns! The wife's salad was good she said!

Mediocre at best Hard to understand why it is rated so high except perhaps that the rest of the restaurants are fast food and this is cooked with waiter service. Gluten free claim is a scam because they do not have gluten free bread or pasta, only a gluten free menu that has no bread in it, just salads or... More

We were spending the night in Fort Dodge and needed a nice casual dinner to end our day. We thought the menu sounded good and provided some variety. My son ended up ordering Ssrimp fettucine which he really enjoyed other than his comment the shrimp should have been fully detailed. He ended up with a couple bites that of shrimp... More

Good Food and Service...we enjoyed our visit and food there. It was clean and well organized for service. Food came out in a timely manner. I am not sure when we were there last...six months or more ago

If you want a steak this would be a good place to go in Fort Dodge. The service is good and a nice atmosphere.

I honestly don't understand how this place is so highly rated. We stopped in for dinner, ordering the Italian meatballs appetizer, orange citrus salmon with vegetables, lemon dill salmon with wild rice, and garbage pasta. The meatballs were plain with nearly flavorless sauce, like something out of a can. The salmon was a plain slab of fish similar to what... More

We have eaten here several times, usually for lunch. I like their pick 2 or 3 items, such as a salad, soup and sandwich. I will say they have some strange sandwiches, so be sure to ask if you are not sure what is is. They have a nice salad, goes well with their super Bloody Mary !

Description
I think this place just opened. The food was great, it is the "most classy" place for "miles around", the decor is interesting, and the service was above average. The smoked pork chop was the best any of our group had ever eaten. The steak was average. Full bar with reasonable prices (a really good Long Island Iced Tea was $5.25). This was an unexpected gem in a small Iowa town not known for its food.
