Walked over from Hotel Julien to this tried-and-true diner, complete with a diner bar. Enjoyed a huge cinnamon roll for the table (large enough to share among four of us), oj, coffee, and a skillet with eggs, hash browns, sausage, onion, cheese and salsa (the...More

Excellent OLD SCHOOL diner with great breakfast! Not fancy and it’s just how you want it! Great breakfast skillet and biscuits and gravy! Definitely try it.

My wife and I were looking for a good old-fashioned, home cooked breakfast with no frills--and that's what we got at Dottie's Cafe in Dubuque, Iowa. It was the first stop on our long trip to the Northwest--as far as Glacier National Park--and it got...More

Good food and good service and good prices in a down home place. Highly recommend. Places like this are dying out. I’m always on the lookout for them and happy when I find them.

You will get a standard, no frills, basic breakfast. Done right and done fast. And at diner prices. Staff hustle to get it done and keep the coffee coming. You will save on the cost, so leave a good tip.

When we vacation we like to avoid the touristy establishments so we found Dottie’s. It was a charming, no frills, step back in time. There are very few of these places left! Our waitress was a in-law to Dottie who passed away 15 years ago,...More
