Finding a clean moderate priced authentic international flavor restaurant gets harder all the time. This pushes confidence, atmosphere, good food, great service (owner and staff are Guatemalan, especially friendly), and just fun place to dine. We’re regulars, at least once a month, trying different nights...More

We eat hear often. The location is in the up and coming renovated area of Dubuque. Surrounded by historic buildings, there's a great bookstore and art gallery across the street, cute coffee shop and quilt shop next door. A family favorite is their Pollo Dubuque;...More

I met some friends here for dinner and was very pleased with our meal and service! I had stuffed poblanos, one friend had chicken Popeye and the other friend had flautas and we all enjoyed everything! I’d definitely go back when I’m in town!!

I have been here quite a few times. Good food and good drinks. Not so much on space or service. I am not a terribly big person nor is my wife. When we are seated at a booth there is barely enough room for each...More

My mom took us to this place the first night we arrived in town for a visit. We may be a little spoiled living in Texas, but Mexican food should be good no matter where it is. All of our food was very bland and...More

One thing I really like about Salsa's is it's a bit more low-key than Los Aztecas. However that does not mean these folks don't make a mean margarita. There's a long bar and usually a soccer game on the flatscreen. I love their tequila drinks...More

I have eaten lunch at Salsa's downtown many times in the years since it opened. The menu is broad but the quality of the food is always good; not greasy or overly spicy. Hot dishes are always hot, service is remarkably fast even when they...More

As the title says, Salsa's food is great considering the price. The sort of place I'd eat at regularly if I were a local.
