Good food, good beer and good service, even though very busy on a Saturday night that was also prom night for a local high school.

I have been to Granite City many times and don’t think I have ever had a bad meal. Periodically a slow server but for the most part 99% of the time good food and service. Their cheddar ale soup is one of the best I have had in the Midwest. The flatbread pizzas are big portions and taste great. I... More

My absolute have-to-have menu item is the cheddar ale soup....I crave this if it's been a while. My husband loves the fish and chips, but we've never had a bad meal. Great service as well.

I have not been disappointed anytime I have dined here. Big fan of the flat bread pizza as the entrée or appetizer.

Kelsey was our server today and was on her 10 game. Brunch was a 9, nothing spectacular however the presentation was good and food hot. Pretzel sticks were my favorite actually. Not a fan of corn in my salad and the veg medley was awesome.

We stop here twice in the month of December, and both times the food was excellent. The second time we ate there we met with a friend; it was easy to converse . . . and enjoy the atmosphere for a couple of hours.

Three of us met for lunch and a business discussion. We ate on the patio under an umbrella on a beautiful Iowa day with a slight breeze. The service was prompt, timely and friendly. The food and beverages were exactly as expected. Based on this visit, and a couple previous times, I would highly recommend Granite City for this type... More

As my wife said, "this place is awesome!. We were in town visiting our son and just wanted a nice place to eat and relax. Granite City was that and more! Food was really good, they would bring food like a buffet and plenty. Plus the turkey and salmon were outstanding. We will be back!

Food was excellent and hot out of the kitchen. Dining in restaurant makes adding their brewed beers to the meal a bonus as I am not sure they have growlers
