Jimmy's has the best BBQ I have eaten since I was in Texas. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful.

This is the second time I've been here and it is as good as I remember. The baked beans have depth, the turkey was moist and flavorful. The service was pretty good. Conveniently located in downtown Boone. $10 got me lunch and leftovers enough for...More
Located downtown with western/cowboy decor, it is definitely unique. BBQ sandwiches and sides come in 3 sizes to fit your appetite. Definitely recommend the Sloppy Jimmy and potato salad. Very reasonably priced. Atmosphere was quiet which we appreciated.
A Boone top ten restaurant! Friendly staff serve hot, smoked meats. We loved the decor. The "seating" for waiting to be seated is a lot more comfy than I anticipated. It's a giant log. Loved it. Very family friendly. Marcydiner tantrum scale of 5/5-no screaming...More
The service, good, and ambiance is fantastic at Jimmy's. Been going only here for twars. The brisket is better than what I can do on my smoker and the potato salad and baked beans are all house made. You will not be disappointed eating here....More

Three size options for sandwiches and dinner plates mean there's a fit for any appetite. There is some variability in meat moisture and tenderness across visits, but the range is from good to great. Because of this, we never have concerns about returning. Prices are...More
We came after Thomas' Day Out. It was noon on a Saturday so we had to wait for 25 min or so for a table. Food was good, the BBQ sauce they have in nice and the hot version is a good hot. Reasonably priced....More
