This is one of 3 Mrs Jones’ bakeries run by a husband and wife team, around the northern beaches area. We recently went to the one at Frenchs Forest (the other two are at Freshwater and Warringah Mall) for a coffee.
It was a light, cheery space with some indoor seating and a few more table outside.
The small cakes display was mouthwateringly appealing, making it fun to choose. Not being able to resist I had the lemon meringue tart.
Cakes and slices are a little pricier than a standard bakery (with most being between $6-$7) but they are also a good step or two up from a standard bakery.
I bought a sourdough loaf to take with me - also good. Overall, a great bakery and I would look out for it again.

The pastries are to die for. Mrs Jones continues to provide the people of the Northern Beaches with quality pastries, breads and coffee. Either at Freshwater or at Warringah Mall, seek Mrs Jones out, you will not be disappointed. There is a wide selection of pastries, gelato, sourdough breads and meat pies.

for the six weeks a year I visit the northern beaches each year not a day go past that I don’t pop in here for one of their amazing French pastries or cakes. For the rest of the year I just dream about them. Baked on the premises you can watch through the glass wall the delicate hands that create perfection. If you have a sweet tooth or a savoury one you’ll find something here that will bring you back again and again.

Such rude, arrogant and unhelpful service which is a shame, as the setting and baked goods are lovely. I think the staff might need a little help with their customer service skills.

Nasty lady working here named marieke van aart, she’s working out of the freshwater store Mrs Jones bakery.. marieke showed no remorse or maturity, she was offensive and just plain rude

This is without doubt the nicest Gelato in Sydney! The cakes are also delicious, so fresh, light and tasty.
Staff are really friendly.
This little place is absolutely fantastic, we will be back!

Amazing cakes, pastries, doughnuts, breads, croissants and gelato + coffee. Beautiful presentation of all the handmade goodies makes it very difficult to choose what to have. There is a small counter top for eat in + coffee but a lot of people come in to take away.

We ordered, well in advance,—our Granddaughters’ 8 year old special and very expensive, prepaid birthday cake.
BUT when we arrived, as planned to pick it up, on way to the party,——only to be told—-
“We have been so busy this morning— haven’t had time to make it!?! # “
To say it was a shock— was an understatement!
But at the same time it was also happening to another lady too!!
Great to be busy, but terrible to be sooo disorganized to not have an 8 year olds birthday cake ready !
The cooks, —-after a wait made the cake, but due to their disorganized rush— it was not good!!
So suggest you place an order with caution always .
I did write to them, but didn’t even receive an apology— disappointing experience yet again.
