We took my wife to Cafe Navarre for her birthday on 12/17/17 and found the atmosphere fantastic and the food was delicious.

We had brunch for a large group of my daughter's friends. Nice menu selection and everyone's meal was delicious. Extensive bloody mary bar. Very nice staff, quaint old building
Got a table on very short notice. We were in a hurry to see the nutcracker and forgot to have dinner. Beautiful place, great bread, wonderful steak, potatoes were fantastic, great beans were good. French onion soup was amazing, shrimp cocktail was good, very spicy

Open for a business lunch, closed in the afternoon, open for dinner. Modestly elegant dining that is Midwestern flavor rather that ostentatious. I've paid much more in large coastal cities.
