Have driven past Cheddar Depot many times and finally stopped there to eat. Wow the sandwiches were big enough for 2. Ice cream was wonderful. My husband could even get it sugar free. Will stop here to eat when we are on our way to...the lake.More

Been buying cheese here for over a year but disappointed today. Cheese was outdated and moldy. Didn't buy anything
We slated Cheddar Depot as a Salem stop on our trip to southern Indiana. It is certainly a unique little business that serves wonderful freshly made sandwiches and a nice variety of quality ice cream. We liked it so well that we stopped there for...lunch again on the way home and bought some home made candy as well. Well worth the stop.More
Sandwiches were very tasty but the chocolates...oh my! It’s a store also with a good variety of items.
I love their ice cream. They offer many flavors, including no sugar added. Their fudge and other candies are made on site and there is a selection of sandwiches and other foods, like taco salad.
Small local sandwich shop....I go on average 3x week everything made the way you like it. Staff is so friendly, and you can get the local gossip, right Kevin...if in town you must go!!
We absolutely love this restaurant! The sandwiches are fresh made, with something for everyone. They have the best homemade fudge, hand dipped icecream, and cheeses.
Walked in to look around and get something to eat. The employee's were more worried about having a conversation than waiting on costumers. I stood in front of the fudge display, not even an acknowledgment I was there. I wanted a sandwich and some fudge....Only one family of three in the whole place. I walked out without buying anything.More
The best chicken salad sandwich in washington county. BLTs are pretty amazing. The sandwiches are great, good meat portions on sandwiches. Taco salad is huge!! But, super delicious.
This was one of our favorite places on the trip, and we just picked it at random. I would absolutely make this a destination next time I'm going down I-65 south of Indy. I want to have lunch there. We got jerky, and candy -...the haystacks were a big hit. And cheese. Everyone was so nice - the employees and the other patrons. We sat outside on the front porch swing and watched the cars go by, and a guy and his daughter walking their beagle. The prices were extremely reasonable - we couldn't believe it. This is my new favorite place.More
My husband and I love to shop for unusual treats for family and friends as well as ourselves. Recently Dandy Breeze milk was added to the selection. It is excellent! It is a wonderful option for those who are seeking milk with no artificial hormones....It is fabulous in coffee. The cheeses are outstanding. I recommend the smoked gouda. Order one of the sandwiches for a great lunch. The chicken salad is wonderful. Most people use this as a quick carry out. There are tables outside for dining in good weather. There is also an ice cream selection and homemade fudge. Stop in the morning for coffee.More
The cheese and fudge is good but a tradition. The new owners have set the bar with great deli takeout. There is limited seating but great sandwiches. The pub burger and the soups are Great. The ham and cheese is HAM, a nice big slice!
My husband and I just stopped in there for a sweet treat. It's a quaint little shop with a good variety of ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed it. And will be going back sometime.
Great food. Today we got a mountain dew freeze. Locals love it. If you are passing through salem indiana it's a must stop. Ice cream, food , gifts and more. Deck to eat outside and hang out awhile. Stop by. You will love it.
This place is not really a restaurant. There are a few tables for customers. It is really a deli and bakery. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The brownies are delicious and ours was still warm from the oven.
