Me and my partner visited today and I cannot not stress enough how poor this pub is. We ordered garlic dough sticks, burger and a pizza and it took over an hour to bring out. I had to go to the bar as I thought they had forgotten us. The burger was disgusting. Cheap meat and burnt to a crisp!... More

Well food appear to be much better than last time, although the pub is tidy and presents a nice atmosphere. The main problem seems to be the bar. There's never sufficient bar staff in attendance, one could fall asleep waiting to be served.

Better. Served drinks at bar immediately as 3 staff on instead of previous 1. More staff on floor as well and actually cleared our table when we'd finished eating. Food was good and reasonably priced, so all in all a much better experience.

3 of us popped in for lunch and drinks. I had the mixed grill and my wife the steak salad. The mixed grill was big but not cooked well: the pork was very dry and the steak not cooked as I asked. We couldn't actually tell what was pork and what was lamb initially. The truth was everything was very... More

Went here on the first Friday in April for a pre-booked birthday meal in a group of 24 and were the only diners in the main restaurant area (which had been reserved for us). We had all pre-ordered our food to help as we appreciated we were a large party. Our table was booked for 7:30 and we were all... More

Went for Mothering Sunday meal with the family, eight of us and a 2 year old. We went because the pub has an excellent play area for young children, good job too. The service was slow, but after ordering (they didn't have what I wanted, so had to have a second choice) it still took over 45 minutes for the... More
