My wife and I had a nice lunch here today. Upon entering and selecting a seat, we started admiring the 50's and 60's diner decor. It is attractive. I saw on their website that the special on Thursdays and Sundays is a 2 piece fried chicken dinner with 2 sides for $6.59. When we asked the waitress, we were told... More

The diner is OK with typical diner menu and specials but the rest rooms are simply awful. They remodeled the dining area but didn't touch the rest rooms.

Great Omlet with Empress Chili and cheese with a side of toast. Made the day start good after we had a time finding the place. Marathon station is good marker point. Wait staff is great and attentive. The food is really a breakfast find.

Nice hometown type place. Good breakfast selections. Did not try to win the prize by eating the biscuit and gravy platter. (16 biscuits and a gallon of gravy in one hour). Fun decor, reminds you of a 50's diner. Easy access off the highway.

Warning - If you are in search of Indiana's famous Breaded Pork Tenderloin (BPT) keep driving. Their tenderloin is a perfectly round patty that looks like it comes from a food service company. That being said, my sandwich was cooked well, served hot with a side of perfect crinkle cut fries and cole slaw. In retrospect, I should have taken... More

This is a 'truck stop' diner, with all that implies. Good solid food. They also have a 5# biscuits and gravy challenge and I actually know someone who tried it and won!!!!

The waitresses there were very nice. And the food was delicious!! We had dinner there and it was so good we went back the next morning for breakfast! It has that 50's diner feel. I liked all the Elvis and Marilyn pictures. Can't wait until we are in the area again so I can try something else!
