My colleague and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and looked for a diner in a walking distance from the hotel. Bistro 501 was ranked high on TripAdvisor and within a walking distance. We made reservations, although one hour ahead, and I was glad...More

Our server was Austin and he was a pro. Chili marinated swordfish with a cilantro hollandaise was fantastic. We also had the New York strip and the curry with rice. Cocktails were generous and well done. Nice selection of wines by the glass. Looking forward...More

Our meals were delicious. The service was very professional. The bill was less than I was expecting. We would certainly like to dine there again.

My boyfriend and I decided to get dinner here for our anniversary and it went above and beyond our expectations. The host, Ryan, was wonderfully accommodating when he told us there would be a short wait, but he suggested having a drink at the bar...More

Bistro 501 is my favorite restaurant in Tippecanoe County. The owner knows good food and keeps her eye out for seasonally available awesome ingredients to craft a menu perfect for special occasions. Considering the high quality and crafty preparation the prices are totally reasonable.

Had lunch and split 3 items. The french dip and coleslaw were very good. Quiche, small salad and fruit were fine. The waiter recommended the salmon BLT but it was not good and we all like salmon. Barely any bacon and the salmon was very...More

We had a delicious salad, salmon, and a scallop dish. Service was very personal and very good. The pricing is comparable to classy big city restaurants. It is worth the price.

First time there and we were more than pleased. Mary came and introduced herself to us and told us about the restaurant. Very good service by Amber. Probably the best French onion soup I have ever had. My husband ordered the Salmon and raved about...More

I’m not aware of a children’s menu, but I’m sure the kitchen could accommodate small appetites with scaled-down pasta dishes or similar.

No real dress code, but most diners are smartly dressed, even if they are wearing jeans and sneakers. You’ll see a wide range, including businessmen in suits, professors in tweed jackets, and smartly dressed ladies flashing... More
