Today was our first time at Mexican Grill and the food was amazing. Definitely try the tacos and smoothies. It was kinda expensive but worth it. We are going to come back next time we come to kokomo.

This is one of the most authentic and delicious Mexican Restaurants, anywhere. This is not a mexi-raunt like most of todays options. Johann Tortas offers their family's delicious recipes! We eat here regularly and the team is like our friends now. They willingly and safely...handle my food sensitivities, too! Highly recommend the Green Enchiladas with an amazing homemade green sauce! Our family has tried nearly every item on the menu and we have never been disappointed.More
Came here because of reviews. Chips are extra. Ordered shrimp fajitas and the tails were still on the shrimp. Smaller portions and the food was just edible. Would not recommend.
The Mexican potatoes are my absolute favorite!! I have never had anything that is not good. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful with suggesting other items on the menu. We usually go at lunch so I might try dinner sometime real soon.
Always wonderful food and never disappoints, great family service and definitely the best Mexican food in Kokomo!
Also known as Mexican Grill, is the most authentic and best tasting Mexican food in Kokomo Indiana, the fool that rated them with a one-star rating must be working for a competitor in town, either that or they have no brains and no taste buds....I've eaten in this establishment probably over a hundred times and without a doubt they are the best authentic Mexican food in town. They also have one of the most organized and cleanest restaurants in town with fast service and Catering to your needs.More
We thought we'd try something different for Mexican food in town. For what we paid, I wish we'd eaten elsewhere. They are the only Mexican restaurant in town (sit-down) that charges for chips and salsa. There was one person taking orders and another cooking them....I ordered the chicken enchilada with salsa verde. It was COVERED in onions. I wanted to order carne asada but it was a very limited menu and they didn't offer that. Our food arrived quickly but there were only a handful of people in the restaurant. We were not offered refills; had to ask for everything. Let's just say, we won't be repeat customers as our experience left a little something to be desired. Next time, we try our old favorites or just stay home.More
Tonight's visit was the second time I have been to Johann Tortas. The torta with mexican sausage was great. My son had a pineapple/ham torta which he said he would order again. The tortas here are the best I have ever had. The business has...different hours than a normal restaurant but I still highly recommend going in for a visit.More
This is a great place to eat. I've been a few times and it always has a great taste and atmosphere when I go.
Authentic Mexican food, tortillas are wonderful. I always get the carne tacos. Highly recommend this family owned restaurant.
I know the owner personally. George is a meticulously clean fella. His food is excellent and the service is quick and personal. Can't go wrong here.
Small place in a small strip mall. Was seated quickly. Server was a bit pushy to take our order which automatically makes me want to leave. But I'm glad we stayed. Food was delicious. Will go back for the tacos and Torta which my husband...ordered but now I'm wishing I had. Was very good. I had chicken with rice which was very tasty. Prices were average.More
Great food and service! Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Only drawback is no beer or wine but is no biggie for me.
Went there for lunch and there was only one waiter working at the time. Luckily we had time to wait, because the food was worth the wait. I had the chorizo torta (until that day, I have never heard of a torta) it was so...good. The chorizo was not overly spicy like I've had in Mexico and the bread was so soft and yummy. I did not like the idea of having to pay for chips and salsa, but they too were very good. Overall I thought the price was higher then your average Mexican restaurant.More
Probably the best Tortas I've had anywhere. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
