This is an order from the menu restaurant unlike many around here that are buffet style. Menu is fairly typical for a Chinese restaurant with many selections. The full dinner included soup and egg roll along with the main dish. I was happy with the scallops and shrimp with vegetables; it was a large serving and well prepared. The scallops... More

The people here are outstanding, very sweet and efficient. The food is very good, not great. Our Generals Chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan were quite good. Egg Rolls are fair.

We've had a family tradition of dining at a Chinese restaurant on New Year's Eve for the past 20 years. We've eaten at House of Cheung for the past five years. There are seven of us and we always have the combination dinner that offers soup, egg rolls, and several Chinese dishes. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable,... More

Chinese restaurants come and go, but some are here to stay. House of Cheung has been in business since the 70s and they staying for one good reason...the food quality is consistently above par. There have been other Chinese restaurants that I have considered best in Indy, but they are all now gone. If you want consistently good Chinese food... More

Sometimes, it's just a carry-out kind of evening & I'm always trying to find decent fast food Chinese food. (My closest place changed owners.) First - the egg rolls must be crispy, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. These were vegetarian, which could have been okay. Yet, the veg were mooshy, flavorless & the outside was soggy & limp. I order 2... More

This is the real deal with real Cantonese cooks and servers. The Sweet and Sour dishes were perfectly balanced and the breading on the chicken was light, not greasy. The Pepper Steak with Tomatoes had just the right amount of garlic and black bean sauce. This is Chinese comfort food.

Chinese restaurants are everywhere, and in most cases the foods taste similar, and prices are close to the same, unless of course, you go to a high, upscale location. But, for a very friendly, neighborhood location this one can't be beat. While they are no longer serving lunch, the evening service is excellent, friendly, and professional. Try it, you'll like... Food tasted fresh and the prices were very reasonable! The decor is creative and yes they could improve the service but it was not horrible. Our group of six went for dinner and out of five entrees, everyone agreed they were all great. Highly recommend this place.

Great service at first. Welcoming. However our waitress could not be found when it was time to get our check and take home boxes. If you pay with a credit card they use a machine that leaves you the choice of an 18% tip, 20% tip or 25% tip or "custom tip". However the custom tip option was protected and... More
