I arrived for supper on a Monday right as they were opening for supper. Pipers is known for their tea cup rolls with cinnamon butter - wonderful. I also had their house salad, scallops entree with corn & cup of chicken velvet soup & ice tea. Good meal. Unfortunately they are closing their restaurant the end of September & just... More

I ordered the soup and salad for lunch and paid $4 extra dollars to have salmon added to my salad. The salmon was dry and tasteless and there was so little, I couldn't believe I was being charged that much extra! However, the salad itself was tasty--I believe it was called Willy's Favorite--with sesame oil and Chinese noodles. It was... More

I work downtown and by the time I drive and park to a local restaurant I could have gone to Piper's, so now I do. It is 5 miles from work and worth the trip south. I go once a week and have always had a great meal. Please don't drop the meatloaf off the menu! I heard they may.... More

Celebrated with 30 others. The room was lovely, with outside daylight. There were no interior lights on, so photos were dark and it was hard to see. That said, the food was plentiful- fruit, mini bun sandwiches, broccoli and Chinese Cole slaw salads and delicious dessert bars. There's a huge fish tank in the wall which is interesting. Drinks included... More

Had lunch there today with a group. Service was good (probably only 10 patrons including us in the place). Food was average, above a burger joint.

My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday evening on our way home to Bloomington from Indy. The atmosphere was an odd balance of formal and casual. The menu had plenty of options, but nothing that sounded great to either of us. We chose a couple of appetizers and were pleased. I don't know that we would return again... More

My wife and I visited on a Friday evening. We were seated immediately. Our waitress, Sarah, was prompt, friendly, and very helpful with our questions. We also met the manager, Dylan, and felt he was very friendly and competent. Our food was served promptly. It was good though not phenomenal. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. Overall, our impression was... More

My husband and I had a great meal here and the service was very friendly in this family-owned restaurant. We tried the special short-time menu that was $30 per couple and included an appetizer, salads, two entrees, and a dessert. We had the duck appetizer and it was very good. My cucumber jalapeno dressing was very tasty. My husband had... More
