Having passed through the busy town of Cantoniera della Presolana, we continued towards Valle Sponda and chanced upon this restaurant. What a surprise! A friendly welcome and an incredible view towards the valley in this family run restaurant that has a modern twist on traditional mountain dishes. Top quality ingredients sourced locally and beautifully presented. Excellent cold cuts and local cheeses, delicious 'creste scalvine', a handmade pasta stuffed with cheese from the valley, perfect roast loin of pork! As always the staff is very kind and always smiling. The homemade Casoncelli (off the menu), are nothing short of extraordinary, excellently stuffed and with pasta rightly calloused. Too bad that this season there are not the usual mushrooms because here they are cooked in an amazing way.

I was passing through on a day dedicated to discovering the Valle Seriana/Scalve area and I moved to this restaurant for lunch.
Pleasant experience in the frescoed dining room with a fireplace and "mountain" furnishings. Careful service and kind and discreet welcome, excellent dishes with quality raw materials.

When I come to Serenella it's like going home for me.
I have been hanging out with Giuseppe and his two wonderful parents for years. With them, in addition to eating, I share thoughts, emotions and walks.
Pure people who open their hearts to me with affection.
