Great for a casual dinner with friends. Good steaks and fried chicken. The Mahi Mahi over rice is excellent. Good drinks. Good service. Reasonable prices.

Best PRIME that I have had in 30 years or more. I will be back for more and the baked potato was also done just right
We drove to Elkhart from Dorr Michigan for their steak dinner and we’re very delighted that the reviews were correct - they have amazing food!!! Their service is above and beyond - none of the “sorry, you’re not my table” stuff, we had of the...staff help us get seated almost immediately and all were so friendly. Stop in here and you will not be disappointed!! We will be back again, Heinnies!!!More
Enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Very helpful and friendly server. The charbroiled shrimp were tasty, the baked potato good, and the angus steak good as well. Would definitely recommend.
Arrived just before 5 on a Saturday with my tween child to have dinner after a sporting event. Being from out of town, we mask as it’s customary where we are from still. The hostess was so distracted by this that she couldn’t comprehend my...question of where the restrooms were so we could wash our hands. That’s here nor there but a definite observation. The restaurant was already half full. It did take our server a little too long to be greeted; however, her service for the remainder of the visit was good after the appetizer had been consumed and dinner was ordered, she was attentive. Our marinara that came with the cheese stick appetizer was cold, not like warm but cold…that was a let down. The side salad that came with my meal was ginormous! A mini meal in itself, although $3 for cheese, bacon and croutons is a little steep and should have been disclosed. My kids cheeseburger was hot and looked good, cooked as ordered. My filet was ordered medium well and arrived well done. Not a deal breaker for me as it’s wasn’t tough. The portions were so plentiful that we took food home. The atmosphere was a friendly, laid back and family welcoming environment, which I loved. Being out of town we immediately noticed how we were the only ones masked in the entire establishment when we entered and even when the waiting area was jam packed when we were leaving. 4/5 stars as they have great food, although some weaknesses.More
Ribeye was grisly, we waited a long time to be waited on. After we ordered our drinks it was about 15 minutes before we got our drinks. The waitress was really nice. Just really disappointed with my $32 meal which did include drinks or any...extras like mushrooms3.49, onions, croutons .99, 3 extra dollars for cheese and bacon and an egg, I guess you go for the atmosphere. Prices are a bit steep.More
To-Die-For prime rib! The seasoning was exquisite! I can’t think of a better prime rib that I’ve had! The homemade soups are an added plus. Rustic decor and a great wait staff. We will definitely be back!!
Traveling with friends and stopped for a drink - wish we had time to stay and eat dinner. It was Thursday late afternoon and the place began filling with locals coming in to eat before we left. Will definitely remember this spot next time we...are in town. Service was great, waitress was so friendly and funny.More
Was recommended by a local and they were spot on. The restaurant was located in the back so we were unsure of the place but everything was awesome. We were concerned when steaks were on the menu at market prices because of covid. When we...got our bill it was a lot less than you would pay at Outback and much better. Side salad and baked potato were huge. We will definitely come back next time were in the area.More
Had dinner here. Atmosphere is rustic, casual. We went on prime rib night which comes with salad and side. Also had the smothered chicken dinner. Prime rib was thick, juicy and cooked perfectly. Chicken had mushrooms and cheese and was tender with good flavor. Salads...were fresh, baked potato standard, grilled asparagus delicious! There is a good selection of beer and wine. Waitress was attentive. Prices were on the high side but we enjoyed our meal and would certainly return.More
Enjoyed the cheeseburger there with bacon, best burger i have had in a long time, prices weren't too bad either, would like to go back and tdg the prime rib, overall a good experience
This is a good night out place to take your whole family. food is better that average, prices or modrate and service is good. Somewhat private as the seating in in (stalls).
Heinnies decor is simple, and that’s not what it is about. It’s about the food, especially the beef. That being said there was fish and chicken on the menu too. The three of us had various sizes of the Prime Rib, all of us had...the meat charbroiled, and it was delicious. My wife had mushrooms as an extra and I did the onions. Both complimented the meat. Food came with choice of sides. Two of us tried the soups... truly home made and we also had the veggies and coleslaw. The home made horseradish sauce complimented the beef perfectly. The service was excellent, thank you Kim.More
It's all about the people. Great staff and the folks who come here are the salt of the earth. The food and drink is good and you receive value for what you pay. Always enjoy Heinies!
It was good, really good overall. The orange roughy...meh. But the prime rib was delicious!!! Our friends were happy.
