We stopped at Dairy Queen to pick up six small Blizzards and a Dilly bar. The staff could not have been more efficient. The price was exactly what we expected. This particular Dairy Queen does not have a drive-thru.
Had to stop and get a vanilla cone at this quaint and original style old fashioned Dairy Queen. It reminded me of the one I grew up with in rural Indiana. Service was outstanding and the ice cream cone was plentiful and delicious! A great...place to stop and grab a cone or other DQ favorites for a refreshing treat! Not a lot of parking but easy in and out off Lake street. No drive thru that I could see, but quick and awesome service!More
It was a very warm day, wo we stopped at this Dairy Queen for something on our way home. It is a small, old fashioned Dairy Queen. The only negative issue that I have is that parking can be a problem. We ordered two Blizzards...and a kids cup of swirl ice cream and we were definitely in heaven. The prices were reasonable. The staff is friendly and efficient.More
This place was packed when I came but the employees seem to know how to handle it like pros-fast, efficient, delicious. The parking is a mess, though, because the lot next door will boot you, but the DQ has 6 spots.
I admit that I'm in the camp of people who wish all Dairy Queens would remain open and not close seasonally, but this one does. BUT, spring is here, and so are Blizzards. This is definitely an old-school, family-owned Dairy Queen, which has been in...this neighborhood for about 52 years. The parking can be a bit of a problem, but on those warm nights, watch for the lines to grow. We ordered a Blizzard with Oreo cookies & Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, as well as a chocolate dipped cone. As good as it gets, in my honest opinion!More
What can you say other than this place captures the true essence of summer! We still love it but the ice cream is just not the same anymore, but that said again, we still go often! People pup tents as the summer opening countdown starts!
