Falafel babaganoush Jerusalem salad and the middle eastern specialty I had the falafel sandwich Jerusalem stylevwith cabbage hummus and their sauce which was very good Not cheap but kosher never is Will go back again
My husband and myself are kosher and we were visiting the area for a few days. The food was delicious, fresh, plentiful and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!
Taboun Grill is a well priced, somewhat casual restaurant with waiter service. It is a nice place for couples to eat out as well as families and groups. The menu selection is quite nice with a Middle Eastern flair. The food arrived in good time...and was very tasty! The owner was very friendly! Overall, we would definitely go back given the opportunity.More
Yum! Laffa schnitzel wrap was very good, it didn't fall apart and was very fresh. Also got Moroccan cigars which were fantastic!
I went here for dinner while visiting in Chicago for a couple of days. Friendly staff. Had a delicious chicken sandwich in Laffa bread. Staff very nice. Interesting thing. No bread on the table. The menu states that for this meal you are entitled to...one pita! I had my chicken in a laffa instead and there was an extra charge. Penny pinching in my opinion. But I enjoyed the meal. Would go again.More
Very fair prices, excellent food from the grill, delicious desserts especially the mousse cake. Very friendly and fast service. Clean premises with an Israeli atmosphere.
The food is amazing and always fresh. Service is prompt and with a smile. Parking is easy. It's a child-friendly place. VERY reasonably priced. It tends to get a bit noisy during rush hour but that's the only bad thing about the place.
Good Israeli style food. The hummus and appetizers are all good, and pita fresh every day. We like the skirt steak best, but chicken is also good. The prices are average for a kosher restaurant and the portions generous. The staff is friendly and accommodate...all requests, including packing to-go meals so that every thing stays nice and not soggy. Recommended!More
I've never had a bad meal here. The soup is delicious and the shawarma is as close to authentic as one will get outside of Israel. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. For Kosher food, the pricing is reasonable. Highly recommend!
Taboun Grill features many Middle-Eastern favorites, including falafel, schwarma, baba ghanoush, and a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, chicken, lamb and beef selections. Since it is also a kosher restaurant, there are no dairy products available. However, there are always dessert options available. Everything is...cooked to order; portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Check it out!More
beware of spicy get something mild grate food they give you a good amount they are very high price i love it all
Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate you coming in and taking the time to let us know your thoughts.
Over prices and not impressed. Lunch for 4 people came to over $75. Robbery. Everything was soggy, and had no pizzaz. meh.More
You obviously are not aware of kosher meat prices. While other restaurants pay less than $2.00 for chicken, we pay close to $6.00. As you can see, robbery is hardly our intent and an uninformed accusation. However, we do offer a lunch special which our...More
I have been here many times and whatever I have ordered has been very good and service is always friendly. Menu with many choices - falafel, kefta kebab, steak, vegetarian.... Love the pickles and beets they put on the table to nosh on as you...wait for your food. Not unusual to have families with small kids and/or large groups of people dining together, but also have seen lots of married couples on 'dates'. I will keep going back.More
Thank you very much for being a customer. We love it when people enjoy coming in and like our food. Your kind review means a lot! We're Israelis and being informal is a way of life. We like keeping the restaurant casual and welcoming to...More
As middle eastern food goes the taste was fairly average. The entrée I ordered was kefta kebab and it was spiced nicely and had a good taste. We tested the appetizer assortment and the taste was just ok. All the food was served hot and...the service was good. There is nothing that I can say that makes this restaurant stand out.More
Thanks for liking our kefta. Sorry you don't think much of the appetizers. They're see usually very popular. We appreciate your input and for giving us a try.
