We visited the location years ago in San Diego and really enjoyed our meal. So when we came to Chicago we naturally had to try again. Great food, friendly staff. You must try the apple pancake..

First time visiting Richard Walker's and I must say it was delicious. It was a bit pricey for breakfast but definitely good. Coffee was awesome, you can't just have one cup. I had a basic breakfast with a Belgium waffle, eggs and turkey sausages. The Waffle was very good and definitely had a different taste from others I have had,... More

Good points: Very nice staff, plenty of room, quick service and bacon is thick cut. But they rely on over salting, over sugar-ing, and large portions instead of taste. The eggs, not hard to cook, were mediocre. The other dishes were mediocre or covered in sweet instead of flavor. Good place if you are looking for large portions or a... More

Really great corned beef hash and eggs but hubbys hollandaise was chicken gravy. 😯 Bacon could be cooked more.

We go to Richard Walkers when my wife wants a breakfast with the best crapes and I want the best pancakes. It is expensive, but a good place to go on a special occasion for breakfast. The place has been recently renovated so there is now a special room for groups. My only fault is the staff. You would think... More

Come Hungry and get the Apple Pie Pancake that is about the size of a full Apple Pie. Suggest sharing meals as the portions are enormous. The interior is a little dated and shabby, but the service is good and the food is great!

Food was good , I had bacon and eggs. The service not so good the waiter was named Manny and he was not very nice. I would give this place another chance.

Richard Walkers has great breakfast food. Their Corned Beef Hash is excellent, along with their German Pancakes, among plenty of other items.

When my husband and I visit the Schaumburg area we always have breakfast at Richard Walker's Pancake House (even when our hotel offers a complimentary breakfast). I recommend the bacon waffle and the house made corned beef hash. My husband loves the crepes and the fresh squeezed orange juice. The waitstaff is well trained and appropriately attentive.

First time here expected so much more. No line and very few customers. Service was poor. Apple pancake was good but you can this at several breakfast places that have better service and more food for your money.
