We love the Olive Garden. The food is always good and the service is too. We’ve been to many other locations as well and the food is always the same (that’s a good thing). Good quality.

So everyone already knows about Olive Garden. The endless salad bowl, the teas only priced selections with good portions, the family friendly atmosphere etc , but this one in st Charles exceeds all expectations!!! I came here last week and had the best service ever....I’m used to good service at Olive Garden, but our waiter was as good as any waiter I’ve had! He made our dinner that much more enjoyable. It was like he was competing for waiter of the year!! So I go back the next week and was blown away by a waiter that outdid the first one!!! I had my granddaughter with me and she was treated like a princess. Now she can’t wait to come back!! I have to give major credit to the mgmt there. There training , supervision, and standards that they hold their employees to is amazing!! Corporate management should visit this place to find ways to up there game even more.More

When I was brought the bottle of beer I ordered, I asked for a beer glass. The young man who brought my beer looked at me with a blank stare then pointed to an empty wine glass that was already on the table and said..."like that"? I carefully explained to him that was a wine glass and I wanted a beer glass. He left never to be seen again. I then asked our server for a beer glass. He initially seemed equally as clueless as to what I wanted but did get the idea. Five minutes later he appeared with a glass for my beer. Total time for a glass for my beer was 9 to 10 minutes. Next time I will bring my own from home! I find it rather sad that a restaurant with a full bar has a wait staff that are very ignorant of how to serve a very common drink such as beer. Lucky for Olive Garden their food is good.More

Our server was fantastic. Service was a little on the slow side, but not too bad. I wasnt' crazy about my entree, but not every place can be perfect all of the time. The pasta was a bit watery. Everything else was fine.

I had the Chicken Margherita as my entree. It was served with salad, breadsticks and zucchini. Elliott was our server and Emily, the General Manager, stopped by our table to make sure that all was well.

Stopped going here several years ago. But their one free with one was tempting. btw this place has been re=decorated and is very nice. They are also very busy with customers AND take out. So obviously people love OG. BUT once again we will avoid....The lasagna was the worst that we have ever had in a restaurant. Runny, over-cooked, need of spices. So bad. We took the 'free' one home to see if the dog would eat it. (The chicken parm used to be good but is not offered on the free program) There are numerous other better Italian places, Maggiannos is excellent and you can get one free with one for about what you spend at OG. Server and all personnel very pleasant. Bread sticks the usual dried out tasteless stuff. Salads same old boring. We will not be back.More

We had a customer meeting in the area so we came here for lunch. The host sat us at the bar area booth and he gave us 1st dirty table which has bread crumbs all over plus no napkins and silverware so he noticed his...mistake and moved us to next table. The bar tender was also the server in that area. He was ok but slow. We were three but we only had 2 sets of silverware and napkins. When the salad came he did not even check or brought the missing one. I walked to the bar and grabbed a set from a basket was there. Other than that the food was good. I’m not sure I come back here if the service is the same.More

We don't go here very often as it is often very crowded on our Friday and Saturday evening dinner schedule. Be we went last Friday, got there by 5:30 PM and we were quickly seated. It wasn't too noisy. I like the separate rooms created...in the restaurant's design. The drinks were not the cheap size, wife's wine or my martini. I don't like strong garlic and the garlic breadsticks were delicious. I crave their salad and would eat 3 bowls if my brain didn't stop me. My favorite is Seafood Alfredo here, but I won't eat all of the pasta- I limit my calories. If we find ourselves here a couple times in 6 weeks, I like the Ravioli. I can never complain about the service here. It is reasonably prompt, efficient, and friendly. I like to pay with the little kiosk. Once the server brings the mints, I'm ready to pay and get the bride home.More

This was a bad evening, our server did a very bad job. we waited for ever to place our order. She was telling all of her tables that she was sorry numerators times, and would they like to talk to the manager. My order included...extra large meatballs, when it came I asked where were the meatballs and was told the order did not include meatballs. I waited foe them to come. The salad came with out bread sticks and we had to wait for them as well. Overall a very bad time.More

In our travels, I've read and heard some complaints about Olive Garden, that its menu is stagnant and should be revised and updated with new items. Why? Why change it if it ain't broke? Does any restaurant, chain or otherwise, offer something more inventive and...imaginative than unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks? Judging from recent Wall Street reports, Olive Garden is doing just fine as it is. Just to satisfy our personal feelings, after enjoying our visit to the Olive Garden on our vacation in Sarasota, Florida, we returned to our home in Chicago and went to the Olive Garden at 3785 East Main Street in St. Charles with friends who have dined there frequently. What I love about Olive Garden is their website that features pictures of each dish on the menu. And I love the "Create your own pasta bowl" concept. So after ordering minestrone, salad and breadsticks--doesn't everybody--I selected one of six pasta options (spaghetti), one of six homemade sauces (marina) and one of six toppings (meatballs) for my dinner. My wife opted for lasagna while our friends chose braised beef bolognese and herb-grilled salmon. For dessert, we had something of everything--tiramisu, lemon cream cake, black tie mousse cake and warm apple crostata. Does that sound blah to you? It certainly didn't taste like blah.More

It depends on the server. Some are attentive and accurate, and others seem to be out of touch. It may be scheduling, or staffing, but we don't always know what we will get as far as service. The food is average to good, with good...portions. But we keep coming back as the pricing is decent and the atmosphere is good.More

We had a nice night dining here on a Sunday night. It wasn't overly packed, and we got a nice booth seat. Our waiter, Jesse, was nice and friendly. He gave us some tips and samples to choose our drinks and answered all our questions...while ordering. Food came quick, and the portions were plentiful. The atmosphere was lively, but not overly loud, so we got to chat and eat undisturbed. I couldn't finish mine, and Jesse was nice enough to pack it up for me on a to-go box. Overall, a lovely night with great food.More

My husband and I stopped here for a quick lunch between errands. We hadn’t been to Olive Garden in over a year because it just seems like they’re all going downhill. I had the soup salad special. My husband had some multi-cheese curly pasta entree....I requested chicken gnocchi soup. It was barely warm and only had one small dumpling. The salad was very meager, lacking dressing and Luke warm. My husbands pasta sauce and meatball were pale and anemic and bland. It was a bad meal. I feel bad for the servers. We are not returning to anymore yucky Olive Gardens. Dont know how they stay in business. Very sad.More
