Came to celebrate our advance Thanksgiving brunch with Churrasco experience. It is highly recommended to make a reservation, yes, we did. Valet parking $15 Cash payment on the spot. Another alternative is the self parking across the street. A minute walk from Fogo restaurant which...will be free after you have your parking ticket validated. Classy from the outside and definitely elegant inside. Pleasant ambience, food selection was decent and delectable for the brunch as described in the menu. Butternut squash soup was flavorful. Omelet was good, the staff making the omelets were attentive to what ingredients you want in your omelet. Loved the PÃO DE QUEIJO (Brazilian cheese bread) and the caramelized bananas. Cannot leave without writing a compliment for our server Miss Diana. She is amazingly brilliant, friendly, attentive, and patient. Thanks, Diana!!! Overall, we enjoyed the food, the service, and most importantly the company. Too hungry when we arrived and was able to take a single photo of the food 😁More

Fun experience, very good food, our server was great and it was a large crowd. It was very loud and it was difficult to hear anyone. Surprised at how cramped we were in the main hall when there were rooms available that could have been...used. I imagine that could have had to do with being short on staff.More

We made a reservation for 2 at 7.30pm and got our table at 8.30pm. From my perspective they take to many reservations to generate revenue. There is no customer centricity, it seems they don’t care how customers feel and don’t care if the table is...ready on time. There was no I’m sorry that the table is not ready, it seems that it is clear that this is normal. You get a pager and they tell you we will notify you. There is the bar. The bar was very crowded, they were another 50 people waiting to get their table and getting a drink was rather a challenge. But if you wait 1h you have to take a couple of drinks, to be happy, good revenue generation. This restaurant is like a manufacturing hall, but not a restaurant to enjoy a good piece of meat. This experience is totally contradictory to other experiences I had with Fogo de Chao in other countries/ cities. The franchise has to be careful not to damage their reputation, with such an example. Meat was good, but we had to ask to get meat and what was served as side dishes was rather poor compared to other places. Service ok, servers rather stressed, but no wonder based on the situation described above. Sorry to say but we will not come back to this Fogo de Chao, even now living in Chicago the years. Will go in other cities, as long as we don’t get another similar experience. Management has to reflect on their business model and how many reservations they want to accept here in Rosemont. A restaurant is a place where we as quests would like to have an eating experience with a great service. This was yesterday October 15 for sure not the case. I hope you take this review serious as this experience was devastating.More

When we first entered the restaurant, we were welcome by our host, Carlos, who is so gracious and friendly. We had the Market Table for lunch and the food is very high-quality of different salads, smoked salmon, many kinds of cheese, fruit, soup and much...more! We love the banana flambe, mashed potato and the cheese bread. And our waiter, Brandon, kept on refilling the plates! He was very attentive to our needs and provided excellent service. During this challenging of finding staff, we're very appreciative that the restaurant still provides high-quality service, food and great value. We'll certainly come back! Thank you, Carlos and Brandon!More

I have been a Fogo Fan for years. I knew about them from eating there when they first came to Texas. Living in Chicagoland at the time, I was on their email list before they opened downtown and took friends there the second week they...were open. We enjoyed many excellent meals there before leaving the area in 2012, and found other churrascaria experiences we found in other cities to be lacking. Nothing held a candle to FOGO! But I guess they have over-expanded. My wife and I had opportunity to return to Chicago on business and were pleased to return, this time to the Rosemont location. Maybe downtown has held up - I plan on taking my son there later this year to give Fogo one more try - but clearly they are struggling now. Perhaps it is just like everything else now with labor and supply shortages, but given the higher price they now charge (that I willingly paid), they really have no excuse. FOGO should be better. Perhaps they have gone corporate and the family standards no longer apply, I don't know. Anyway I'll giver you the positives and the disappointments: * Staff still gave an excellent welcome. * Cocktails were great; wine list was good. * Salad bar was no longer "best in Chicago" but the salmon was still top-quality. Several pedestrian items, but the roast artichokes were a delight. * Deserts were excellent. * I enjoyed some superb lamb that did come by. But you come for the meat, right? It's a STEAK HOUSE, after all. So here are the disappointments. * No filet was ever offered. * Pork went by more than steak. * Their famous picanha steak (top sirloin), which I LOVE, came by once . . . and was not seasoned properly. Seriously, the kitchen didn't season the steak! * They even came by with grilled cheese. I didn't come for cheese, I came for carne. Clearly they are cost-cutting. * Some bottom sirloin came, which was OK, but never the sausages or the rib steak. After I complained, and after a long wait, a small ribeye cooked American-style was brought out just for me, overcooked. Not their famous BEEF ANCHO. Again, clearly they are cost-cutting. Like I said, overall a disappointment. Yes, we enjoyed some dishes, but it was not anywhere near our many past experiences.More

For my first experience at any Fogo De Choa, it was certainly not a good one. I dined at the bar with Rodrigo today and he didn’t seem to care for me as his patron. Here is how it went down… He greeted me immediately...around 6:30pm and poured me a glass of water. I had expressed that I would order another beverage later. He understood. I finished my water and was not acknowledged for another 30 minutes. He walked back and forth behind the bar solely handling service bar tickets. I had to flag Rodrigo down to ask for menu to see what my cocktail options were. He passed me a menu from the gentleman sitting 3 seats down from me and went back to service bar. After looking over the menu, I had my mind made up and ordered food and drink. Rodrigo made an excellent Manhattan and I wish he continued to push those, but that wasn’t the case this evening. The food came out and it was delicious! Excellent job by the kitchen! However, I was never check on to see if I needed anything else or if everything was tasting okay. Another lady sat at opposite end of the bar from me. I had a feeling she was having a similar experience. I could overhear her asking Rodrigo, “you’re not going to make me sit here and wait, are you?” Rodrigo gave a small, guilty chuckle. That confirmed that I wasn’t the only one feeling this way either. Over my message is this… I’ve bartended in DC/Baltimore for 5 years and this would be inexcusable at any establishment. I understand service bar can get backed up and you can always ask for help. But when you have patrons at the bar who feel unattended to, that reflects on your gratuity. Building rapport with your bar patrons is an essential part to bartending and I felt it was lacking in Rodrigo’s efforts today. He made an excellent drink for me, in fact the gentleman whose menu I had said the same thing. But overall, the service itself was very bad. I hope this is helpful and not a reflection on this franchise as whole.More

We had a friend in from New Zealand that we wanted to impress and wow did we ever. Everything was on point from the salad bar to the endless stream of meat being constantly served. We had the dining experience of a lifetime. We also...had the BEST waitress. Her name was Destiney. She had an intimate knowledge of the menu for the meats and drinks. We will always ask for her whenever we go back. She was so friendly and offered impeccable service. Thank you!More

I’ve enjoyed several locations in California, but this location left a lot to be desired. We (fam of 3) made reservations here for a Saturday night dinner 3 weeks in advance. This place was crazy busy so we weren’t upset at not being seated immediately....Our server took our drink order as soon as we were seated and then disappeared. It took 10 minutes to get our sodas and tea and it took another 1/2 hr and 2 requests to get ice water (a manager finally noticed we weren’t being served). While the meat was plentiful and fantastic, we were 45 minutes into our meal before the potatoes, plantains and bread were served. The salad area is was decent and we loved the chicken salad, potato salad and grilled eggplant. We were asked about dessert and after ordering, it took 20 minutes to get that as well. While I hate to place all the delays on the server (and we were in no rush), it was hard to ignore the fact that she was nowhere to be found. Many apologies were given by the manager on several occasions and we weren’t angry or fussy about the delays. I just wish I could have treated my family to a meal at a place I love and have them enjoy their first visit as much as I did 3 years ago but they just wasn’t the case. We won’t return to this particular location.More

Children 6 and under are complimentary. Children 7 to 12 are half price. If you are willing to pay, there is nothing wrong about taking children here. Just make sure they know how to behave.
