this used to be our go to restaurant for Chinese. Not sure what has happened over the last 3 months but it is not the same. Food used to be fresh and bright, now it is just average and plain, plus they forgot our eggrolls the last 2 orders. Maybe a new chef or just cost cutting but again, just average now - time to find a new place.

Not the best Chinese food in Rockford but still OK. We have tried this a couple times and not been very impressed.

This is our favorite Chinese Restaurant in the Rockford area. We have tried them all and keep returning here. It is not much for atmosphere, but the food is consistently great and flavorful. Most of the time we do home delivery or carry-out. The egg rolls are the best around. If you love Chinese cuisine, this is the place to go. I have tried most everything on the menu and have yet to have anything that I would not recommend.

Chinese food.
Just for the heck of it I checked trip advisor for reviews, thinking it was a wast of time, they'd nearly all be good.
Surprisingly not!?
My wife and I eat from here fairly regularly (aprox 1 or 2x per month) both take out and pick up, usually pick up, and don't ever recall having a bad experience.
We used to go to the original LungFung, my wife didn't care for, now we come here despite the fact is 4x as far, 15 to 20 as compared to five or less min.
We nearly (I say nearly because I hate the word always, NOTHING is always) love the food.
We usually (again avoiding the word always) get combination egg foo young & fried rice with egg rolls.
Ask for extra peanut butter gravy and sauces, soy, mustard and sweet and sour.
Usually ready for pickup in only 15-20min. (your welcome).

I had to write a review because I noticed the rating and I was like oh heck no. We use to have the best little Chinese restaurants here in Rochelle and they made this great chicken dish called Phoenix chicken and since they closed I've been going crazy searching for my Phoenix chicken... FOUND IT. Lung fung chicken. I haven't been there a lot but when I do dine in they already know my dish.

It's my favorite in the area. It's a shame lung fung in belvidere closed. There are things I did like better there, and things I liked better at this location. But regardless, it's amazing. I have such a hard time finding other Chinese restaurants that match it when I'm not in the area.
And the staff is lovely. Never ever had a negative experience. One time I accidentally order from lung fung in belvidere, and she called them for me, and got the order switched. No complaints, no one was mad, she was super sweet about it.
Support them, they deserve it.

My friend ordered Shrimp Curry and Veggie Spring roll. Both of them had meat in it. And my friend got sick because of eating the food. Don’t waste your money and health by eating here. I recommended spend little more money and go to a different restaurant. WORST!!!!!!!!!!!

This was our first visit to lung fung 2 and I must say it was terrible. Wish I could be more positive but we found no bright spots.

I would rather not review local eateries, however Lung Fung 2 (not to be confused with the original Lung Fung), has no honor.
They do not honor their own coupons
If ordering for deliver, double check your costs- wrong to their benefit.
The Food- Low grade, basic, and most likely pre-made.
The Service- Mildly rude.
Complaints- Pretend they do not understand you.
Overall- there are no places in Rockford to order decent Chinese food.
This is definitely one of them.

When I order Lo-Mein, I'm in the mood for Lo-Mein. So upsetting to get home and find that my Lo-Mein has been replaced with fettuccine noodles. When Asians can't make their own food correctly, it's a sad day.
