Went here on Sat night about 5:30. No problem getting a table. The atmosphere kind of had a "local" feel. People sitting at the bar were loud, but apparently most new each other. Food was good. Waitress was nice. Not sure we would go again.

We stopped here for dinner based on the positive TripAdvisor reviews. This is a nice friendly local bar. Our server was very friendly, helpful and prompt. We split a prime rib sandwich and a blue cheese burger. For sides we had baked Mac n cheese...and their homemade chips. All of the food here was good. Prices are reasonable. If we lived in this area, we would definitely be stopping here on a regular basisMore

Not used to getting such high quality food at a sports bar. Their skirt steak sandwich is heavenly. Love their create your own mac and cheese too. The last time we were there, our waitress was super amazing. So friendly and helpful. A real sweetheart!...Service on previous trip wasn't nearly as good. It has been quite cold on my visits so I recommend bringing a jacket or sweater. Plenty of televisions showing sports and also some video gaming. Decent selection of drinks at the bar. Union Ale House is a solid choice for drinking, dining and playing.More

I came here with some colleagues for a business dinner. The food was seriously good! The place is a little old and not too fancy but, the food and service make up for that. Our server was really nice and really quick. The owner stopped...at our table to make sure things were good. Boneless chicken wings and the patty melt sandwich are both great. We happened to venture into the Union Ale House on a bingo night. Bingo was free, and the food was very good. I had a appetizer called the Drunken Nachos. While it cost $10, there was enough chips, meat, salsa, peppers, and cheese to feed...3 people! It was fantastic. While I did not win at Bingo, I did win a location that I will go back to. There were a number of very young children there, so it appears to be a family oriented business.More

I had a groupon, so I decided to check out this place. Very friendly and casual. You could tell there a lot of regulars, both at the bar and in the restaurant. I had the half slab of ribs with a baked potato and a...very nice combo of mixed veggies. The onion soup was super, as was the Rocky's Revenge beer on tap. What a find! Everything was excellent. The salad entree at the next table was huge and looked great. I will definitely go back.More

Place is very nice and clean inside. Fantastic burgers, very good turkey club sandwich service is good staff is very nice. Fairly large bar with lots of on tap options. Not the biggest place but the food is definitely worth the price which is very...reasonable.More

We went to Union Ale House for the first time last evening....it is a 6 out of 5 star place to eat. Having never been there we expected it to be a somewhat "darK" Sports Bar but the atmosphere was bright and cheery - definitely...welcoming and "family friendly". We were pleasantly greeted upon walking in and all the staff were polite, concerned all was going well, friendly and upbeat. While there were TV's with various events throughout it was definitely NOT noisy. It was Bloody Mary special day and the drinks were delicious. My husband and I both ordered burgers - Blue Cheese Burger and Cheddar Pretzel Burger - both cooked to perfection and plentiful. We both opted for a side salad instead of fries. Expected a small dish with cut up iceberg lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes. Wrong! Nice serving of mixed greens with tomatoes, onions, croutons, carrots, etc. Was a delight. The owner, Jim, came to chat with us and told us all the food is homemade...we believe it! He is pleasant and made us feel like we had known him all our lives. This place will definitely be a regular for us and definitely worth your visit.More

This place gets good reviews so my wife and I stopped in for their lunch specials. She ordered a turkey sandwich and I had their 1/3 lb. burger We both ordered their homemade potato chips. Like usual, she drank water and I had a diet...soda. Although their regular menu says that the turkey sandwich has mayonnaise, their lunch special menu doesn't mention it. So when my wife's sandwich showed up with mayo, she was unpleasantly surprised and wiped off as much as she could. When we asked the waitress about it, she insisted the mayo was on the menu - until she read the specials menu and it was absent. She apologized, that she usually worked nights not lunches, and she forgot to mention it. My burger was obviously hand-formed, nicely prepared on a sesame seed bun with lettuce, tomato and onion. I added my own condiments. It was delicious and a bargain. I loved the homemade chips, We agreed that they were a touch oily, but my wife thought they were salty and I didn't taste a bit of salt on them. I didn't even have to look up and a free refill of diet soda was delivered to my table. I can't wait to come back for dinner ordered off their regular menu. It's clear the ingredients are first rate and the service is quite good.More

I’m seriously picky when it comes to wings - and they caught my attention! The honey BBQ wings is really good and Oh so juicy! Definitely a-must try!
