Food is usually cold to lukewarm. good coffee; friendly atmosphere, but wouldn't make a special trip to eat there.

There are no pictures for a reason. The atmosphere is dark and depressing. The service was slow and inattentive. My BLT sorely lacked bacon, tasted only mayo and the bread was smashed. Lemon pie was okay. Husband ordered a burger and it was okay, also....More
Lunch is good and save room for the pie. A tip: order pie when ordering lunch and have them set the slice to the side because you could miss out on what you wanted. It goes fast.

We ate an excellent breakfast: biscuits of the biscuits and gravy were very fresh, enjoyed the egg sandwich on an English muffin, and American fries with onions.good food. Food was served hot. Service was good as was the coffee.

Family run establishment, very friendly folks! Home cooked meals and scratch made pies. You're not going to get an over-sized portion of anything here, but you will get a good meal for a good price.
If you want a great burger, this is the place! My husband loves the "Indian Burger" but their cheeseburger is my favorite. The place is usually packed with locals so that is a good sign.
