Seems to be a hangout for the locals and i can see why. I had two eggs over easy a thick piece of ham and though i love home fries i could only eat half, the serving was so large. Glad i put off eating breakfast till now.

The place was just ok for me. I had A cheeseburger and french fries. The burger had more grizzle than I care for and the fries were nothing special. For what they charged for the meal I expected a lot better. The service was very good. I also expected better because of the reviews I read from Trip Advisor.

While antiquing in Pocahontas, we stopped at this restaurant for lunch, and we were so glad we did! The online reviews were all good, and we were surprised at how many people drove from miles away just to eat here! Until we ate there too - then we understood. The portions were big and the prices reasonable. we loved the... More

We stopped in here on our way east to Pennsylvania and again on our way home. The first visit was for a late afternoon meal. The second was for breakfast. The Powhaten has a rustic feel to its décor and it's a nice change. The portions hare huge! The price paid is most reasonable. The service was fast and friendly.... More

Food is good, portions are huge, and the staff is generally very friendly. Excellent breakfasts served all day. Can be a bit noisy and crowded during peak times, and crying kids do detract. Also, no plastic accepted (but they do have an ATM). But you won't go away hungry!

Was in from out of town and not familiar with the area, but heard good things about their food. Went with a group of about 10 people and the service was great. Food was also pretty good. The onion rings are amazing! Would definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Probably the best eggs Benedict I've had. And the reason I'll be back to stay a night at the hotel. We even had complications on MY END with the booking and they called me shortly after to make sure i WAS still arriving. Fantastic people!

While traveling to Baltimore MD, It was getting late and I stopped at the Powhaten motel and in the parking lot was the Powhaten Restaurant. Before checking into the motel I had dinner. Chopped Sirloin steak. (Hamburger Steak) Held the gravy so I could add 57 on top of the mushrooms and onion's. Putting it simple it was great. Baked... More
