Went to Rizzi's for dinner tonight with my husband and my mom. It's my mother's favorite Italian restaurant in Peoria. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We started with wonderful garlic bread. The hose dressing on the mixed green salads was excellent. It was also throughout the sale, not just on top. They also brought a regular bread basket. The dipping oil... More

What a quaint great restaurant to enjoy an Italian meal and a reasonable price either as a couple or family or getting together with friends you can't beat the specials and every Italian entree. Try Rizzi's on Sheridan for the best Italian ever!

We have been going to Rizzi's for years. Tonight was no different. Excellent food, to die for hot crusty bread for dipping in the oil and parm cheese. I had chicken marsala, my husband had the salmon, and we introduced a new customer who enjoyed her chicken fettuccine. We loved their house salad with the fat free tomato basil dressing.... More

Had the chance to eat at 2Chez and Rizzi’s in two nights back to back so a great chance to review two local favorites. Have long been eager to try 2Chez as have heard good things. Rizzi’s has been a favorite for some time including back when they had the downtown location. This review for Rizzi’s – see separate review... More

Our party of 3 meet at 6:00 at Rizzi's and were seated in a nice table. This a quaint little restaurant and once inside, you'd never know you were in a strip mall. We ordered breadsticks for an appetizer. Service can be a bit slow, but it's worth it, order an appetizer. We each ordered pasta dishes and were very... More

My husband and I had a good dining experience at Rizzi's. The bread is delicious! My husband had a salad, and I had the stuffed pepper soup which was very good! I don't remember the names of the dishes we ordered, but both were outstanding! I had a pasta dish with chicken, sausage, and mushrooms in a red sauce; and... More

Very nice people serving great food. The flavors are refreshing and have the right balance of pasta and protein. Being local still keeping it affordable and delivering quality food is the key feature of this restaurant.

We chose Rizzi's for a Valentines dinner. We had been to Rizzi's many years ago and for some reason hadn't considered it. We were very pleased with the food and service. We chose 2 appetizers as it had been a long time since lunch. The stuffed mushrooms were flavorful and the garlic bread was large slices with a crunch crust... More

Service was great.... appetizers yummy... ( fried polenta special).... I had the Cannelloni, it had a great sauce, but one of the things they stuff it with are carrots... which I don't mind, but these weren't cooked long enough and had a bit of a crunch to them. This was our first time dining here... I will go definitely try... More

For Peoria, this is good Italian food in a personal setting. It is a better value than upscale Italian chains, such as Biaggi's, and somewhat less expensive than PV II (another good Peoria choice for Italian). We enjoyed the Veal Sorrentino (3 small cutlets nicely arranged and layered with eggplant and fresh mozzarella or similar cheese) that came with a... More

RIZZI'S ITALIAN RESTAURANTS is a family-owned business operated by the Rizvani family. Chef Dave Rizvani, along with his son, Bekim are your hosts. We take pride in the fact that we live in the area and work in the area. You, the customer, are important to us because you are our friends, our co-workers and our family. Our customers are the most important people to walk through our doors, and our staff strives to treat you as the VIP's you are. RIZZI'S RESTAURANTS have been operating in Peoria since 1995, with the first Rizzi's being our Sheridan Road location, and Rizzi's on State added in 1997. Rizzi's on Sheridan has a cozy atmosphere to meet with your family and friends and is a popular local eatery. Rizzi's on State, located in downtown, is perfect for dining prior to a Civic Center event and has additional space for parties and an outdoor patio area. We pride ourselves in knowing our regular customers and they are like our extended family. Dave & Bekim Rizvani
