We were driving home on I-74 and decided to stop for lunch at the Jubilee Cafe. I'm glad we did. We had some of the best fried chicken ever. It was crispy, juicy and flavorful. The sides of real mashed potatoes and dressing were great. Service was quick and friendly and the cost was reasonable. This was our first time... More

We stopped here on our way west and once again coming back. The pie is fantastic...spot on. Food is home cooked, decent portion. Slightly high but service is fantastic. Best place for about 40 miles. Believe me there is nothing west or north of here. Peoria might have something better, but this was quick and right off the interstate. No... More

This local diner used to be a favorite when visiting our daughter's family, but we we've been disappointed over the last few visits. Most recently, we stopped in for breakfast after picking up our 16 month old granddaughter. The menu prices are on the high side when you finally realize how small the plates actually are. They've reduced the plate... More

My wife and I have eaten here many times and we actually use their back room for some of our business meetings from time to time. The food here is always fresh and excellent. The pies are homemade and just wonderful, even though I can't have them any longer. We always pick up some pies to take over to the... More

14 of us were stopping by here after seeing some Peoria sites, before heading home. Most in the group spoke of the fried chicken, but that doesn't start until after 4p (this was a Saturday). So most of the group tried a meatloaf Manhattan open face sandwich. Most reported good results. Others had soup, chilli, etc. Again good results. I... More

Always looking for local diners when we are on the road. Pulled off the interstate and the lot was full (always a good sign). Good "scratch" breakfast. Nothing fancy, but good! A little slow in the service area, but they were hopping. Note: they only take cash!

The Jubilee s located on route 74 about 5 miles west of Peoria on Exit 82. The food is good, service is speedy and our waitress was cheerful and efficient. Breakfast is served all day. The portions are generous and fairly priced. They make their pies daily and are known widely for their quality and variety. They do not accept... More

Don't miss this easily-accessed stop outside Peoria. You can't miss on menu items that will remind you of meals at grandma's. And don't leave without ordering a slice of pie!

This cafe is very popular with the local public. Very casual and unpretentious. Spacious seating areas, light-colored decor. Famous for their home-made food, generous-sized portions, but nothing fancy. Conveniently located right at the I-74 exit at Kickapoo it attracts a lot of customers. I was just driving by from the park and recalled this place that we visited many years... More

Stopped by for lunch at Jubilee Cafe. It is right off the exit of I-74, so is quite convenient for travelers on the interstate. You seat yourself, and we felt the employees were not the friendliest. Someone took our drink orders, and then another one took our food orders. She never did tell us about the specials of the day,... More
