Have been going to Mickey's as long as they have been there. Their Ribs are the best in the Near West Suburbs. They make their own sauce and it shows. I would recommend their Ribs to anyone. Not expensive and very casual. You can call...ahead for pick-up and it is always ready and hot. Treat yourself. Note no indoor dining at this time.More

Must visit

They have great food, good prices, and hearty portions. I love the big mickey double cheeseburger with grilled onions, the gyro plate, and the rib tips. The menu is big and you can't go wrong with anything. Definitely the local favorite.

30 years of Gyros, Dogs, Burgers and Ribs

This friendly Oak Park restaurant occupies a repurposed burger spot. The interior is a weird combo of booths, TVs, random music and a Casablanca mural. It was decorated for the holiday with signs thanking patrons for 30 years. The fellow taking my order shouted it...to the cook in SNL cheesebogger fashion. My gyros sandwich was so generously filled with gyros that I really couldn't think of picking it up in my hands. It was good with slices of onion and pieces of tomato with Tzatziki sauce and french fries. All the patrons and staff seemed very happy to be there.More

Great food

Huge menu great prices and great food ..loved.the.rib tips.pizza puffs were excellent and everyone else enjoyed their food as always...very busy place but the wait was well.worth it ...did carry out as usual

always happy here

been going here for years and my kids now do as well, service is always friendly and quick even with huge lines. it's not 5 star cuisine of course but it's tasty and generous and inexpensive. Pita salad is great, the Big Mickey has a...certain pleasing taste and texture, the 1/2 chicken dinner is nice.More

Excellent neighborhood hot dog & gyro joint

When you see a place like Mickey's Gyros & Ribs, it just reaches out to you and pulls you in to get that gyro that you are having a taste for. Mickey's Gyros & Ribs did just that. There is a large parking lot and...the restaurant is a stand-alone restaurant, which has easy access both to and from Harlem Ave. I ordered the gyros sandwich and it tasted excellent. The portion was more than ample, and the price was reasonable. The staff was friendly and efficient.More

Neighborhood Staple

Huge gyro plate. Always good. This is a classic Greek family owned business that has been putting out classic roadside food for a long time. Maxwell St Polish, Rib tips. Micky’s Double burger. Always a treat. These are the places chain fast food will never...get close to. Local people know this place and love it.More

Wonderful BBQ and brats

This is the best example of a roadside neighborhood fast food joint. The Polish sausages are always juicy and perfectly prepared. The cheese fries are as good as it gets, smothered in cheese. BBQ chicken or ribs also great. Very friendly service too.

Not as good as they used to be

I went for the rib special. The bread was the best thing about my meal. Fries were hard, ribs tasted like they had been cooked and warmed over. I won't be going back. Very disappointed.

Huge Gyro

I was just driving and wanted something that was not REAL fast food. I got the gyro with fries and I had it for 2 days there was so much meat. It was great and not dry and some places are. Ummm good

Though we didn't get the rubs when we were there, there was a couple there at the same time who was raving about them. We plan on coming back to Mickey's for dinner, specifically for the ribs.
