Yesterday, Sunday, March 8th, we waited an hour and seven minutes to be SEATED, even though there were many empty seats. Manager said he didn't have any wait staff to attend these tables. I did see wait staff talking to each other, instead of waiting...tables, management having meetings in the kitchen instead of working or the manager could wait on tables. Bus boys were talking to each other instead of working. I could hear cursing going on in the kitchen. It was very unprofessional.More

Chili's the restaurant is becoming somewhat of an endangered species in the city of Chicago. Nowadays to experience their burger and bottomless fries pairing one has to travel to the border, of Chicago, that is. Chili's is conveniently located just steps from the North riverside...Mall in the suburb of the same name. So after a day of shopping and such one can have a toes up and rest and relax and partake of repas at the restaurant. At one time in the near past the restaurant was even more conveniently located in the Water Tower area by Holy Name Cathedral, but sadly its moved to the burbs. Chili's burgers are many and mouthwatering choices as well as other delicious entrees. For customers that keep coming back theres even an app tat can b downloaded right at your table at the ziosk which gives one the option of selecting free appittizers! Come one come all!More

My wife and I have visited several Chili's restaurants from Aurora to Sarasota and I still haven't figured out what a Tex-Mex style cuisine is all about. All I know is it is something different from the conventional and traditional and ordinary cuisines that dominate...the fast-food industry. Founded in 1975, Chili's has established over 1,600 locations worldwide, about 30 in the Chicago area, and customers seem to enjoy everything from BBQ baby back ribs to chili to enchiladas to quesadillas to fajitas to tacos to Cajun shrimp pasta to Ancho salmon to Texas cheese fries to two of my favorites, the Old-Timer Burger with Cheese, a hand-seasoned beef patty topped with garlic dill pickles, lettuce, tomato, red onions and mustard and the Southern Smokehouse Burger, a beef patty topped with four slices of Applewood smoked bacon, melted cheddar, garlic dill pickles, onion rings, lettuce, tomato and Chili's signature sauce. I also recommend the Atlantic salmon with rice and steamed broccoli, especially if you belong to the more fish/less meat generation. Finally, as we were trying to decide which dessert to have, our waiter heartily endorsed the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Why not? Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It may be more sinful than sorbet but it's worth it.More

Arrived around 5:45 and was seated right away. Ordered drinks and crunchy asparagus appetizer, which was delicious. Had to wait a little while for the cocktails to arrive, but when they came we ordered house salads and entrees. Had to ask for utensils since there...were none on the table and then the waiter brought a little bag with only a fork and a straw in it. A few minutes later our entrees arrived and a few minutes after that our salads arrived. WTF I thought the salads would have came first! Then we had to ask for a knife since the straw that came in the bag was not of much use to cut the chicken breast. All in all the food was very good and the portions were generous, I think our waiter was perhaps new at this because the service was not that good tonight.More

All we could think of was if it looked dirty where we we're sitting at we couldn't imagine what the kitchen that we couldn't see looked liked!More

Came in on a Monday night Not very busy. Selected a table in the bar area and the service provided by Juan was spot on. Salsa and chips are complimentary and can be supplemented with the awesome skillet queso. Fajitas could use a bit more...peppers in the mix, but the portion was generous. Go for the Chocolate Chip Skillet for desert and you will not be disappointed.More

Hostess was not friendly or engaging. I had to get her attention to get seated. Food was a bit cold and flavorless. Service was ok. The restaurant could use some cleaning too. Was not impressed with the food or service.
