As one reviewer said, the food here is not great; in fact, any restaurant that provides more than one cuisine (in this case, Chinese & Filipino) should give you some ideas about the quality of its food. Still, it was passable enough although the Yu Shan Pork I had tasted more like chicken and the Cashew Chicken my partner had... More

We started with Classic Wonton Soup, flavorful clear broth with a decent amount of wontons. The large egg rolls are a blast from my childhood, meaty with lots of cabbage and we topped them with sweet sauce and mustard sauce, again Old School. The Egg Foo Young was off the charts in a pool of brown gravy..my Bro and I... More

We had an excellent meal and the service was attentive and friendly. They continually refilled water glasses and added hot water to the teapot so that we always had hot tea. We shared food family style and it was all excellent. The egg rolls were a good start to our meal. The won ton soup was hot and delicious. We... More

China Chef's food isn't extraordinary as Asian food goes. We had a party of three. All ordered something different. All three dishes pretty much tasted the same. I had the House Specialty "Pancit Guidado" and it pretty much tasted like the Chicken Chow Mein. Not bad, but bland by my standards. Nothing extraordinary, but for the low prices, it was... More

The service was excellent as was the food. We started with the egg rolls which were large and excellent. We also had the shrimp and the BBQ pork appetizers and they were tasty too. The won ton soup is excellent and the large was easy to share. We tried the chow fun, the Monoglian beef, the schechuan green beans, the... More

I had lunch at China Chef yesterday and it was good. I had the Mongolian beef and Crab Rangoon. Mongolian beef had been cooked to the point the sauce was just caramelizing. Could have used a bit more sauce to soak into the white rice. Beef was tender and not fatty. They state it is hot but I could not... More

For a post memorial lunch at a Chinese restaurant, it was quite good. Owners were the ones that ran the old Wah Nam Restaurant in Manila, Philippines, migrated here to the U.S., and the menu did not disappoint. The soup and the Ho To Day were as i remember them as a child. Very tasty. As usual there was tons... More

It's been a long time since we ate at an old fashioned Cantonese style restaurant. I haven't seen chow mien or chop suey on a menu for many years. I ordered the Mongolian beef, and it was okay, nothing to brag about. The meat was tender and well seasoned, but hardly exciting. It was supposed to be a little spicy... More
