The last time we visited Pere Marquette we happened upon this restaurant just before the fire. It's unassuming from the outside but a great place to try. We just went back. Its remodeled inside and really nice and clean. It's about a 20-mile drive from...More

We were there last Sunday, just for coffee and pies. Cannot comment on the meal but the pies (rhubarb and gooseberry) were great. We took a whole cherry pie home. The crust is perfect!

Took our boat to Hardin for a late lunch. One of the specials was Pork Steak which I ordered. Came with two sides for $8.99. Potato salad and baked beans were good. But pork steak wasn't very good. Tasted like it was just baked in...More

Its hard to improve on the best Catfish Fritters this side of Heaven but this place exceeds expectations, a simple decor, nothing fancy, good food and friends, great service and copious amounts of the best southern style food in the area. Baked Sweet Potatoes are...More
