Decided to stop here for a nice brunch. Red velvet French toast was awesome. Nice and fruity and sweet. It is a special. Service was really good, pretty fast as well. Would recommend to others.

Great breakfast. Ordered as takeout and we (6 adults and 3 toddlers) were lucky to get a table out back on the lawn. Everything was very good … noteworthy were the ‘cinnamon roll French toast’ and the ‘bocado omelette’. My one criticism has nothing to...do with the restaurant as such and that is that I’ll never get used to eating from the plastic takeout packaging. One of these days got to go back and try the indoor experienceMore

We four adult family members enjoyed a relaxed & delicious lunch, with very friendly & attentive service by Matt. It was a very warm Soring day and the AC indoors felt good. They are still taking customers’ temperatures as part of their covid protocols, which...seems totally excessive, as they aren’t very accurate since asymptomatic carriers don’t have a fever! (We were all fully vaccinated). We also still had to ask for all condiments, which is also frustrating, considering covid is not spread by touch. But in spite of these annoyances, Egg Harbor is still a pleasant & delicious place to eat. Will return!More

This was such a great breakfast place at one time, hoping I hit it when maybe someone called in. Poached eggs over skillet were hard and tiny and bread wasn't toasted at all. Jelly on side was like a puree and food was cold. Skillet...was all potatoes and tiniest amount of other ingredients. Table next to us also had issues with their food and told server they had a problem last time they came as well. Breakfast isn't a super tricky meal and it's their staple. For a $12.50 meal that was poor.More

We came here all the time, but it is no longer good or fresh. The eggs were off and my friend could not even eat her omelette. Very surprised at the quality of the food - it used to be great, but we will no...longer be dining here (unless they go back to the fresh and tasty breakfasts). Problem of supplier? Chef or cook? The service is good, but the food barely edible.More

Went again last week! Wonderful breakfast of biscuits and gravy wit 2 eggs. Simply great. I have had a number of their skillets, omelets and of course the pancakes! Many sandwiches for lunch all accompanied by the delicious salad! Go and enjoy!

Egg Harbor Cafe is one of the places we enjoy meeting friends every few months. We're never disappointed. Cheerful atmosphere, great food, reasonable prices. Ally was our server; she was friendly, professional, and our orders (with many requested variations) were perfect. The food was not...only delicious, but it looked yummy on the place! (Lots of extra touches, like chopped green onions on my tomato slices). We loved the coffee, served in signature mugs---and we're picky about coffee. Plenty of refills, and Ally put a pot on the table so we could refill at our leisure. I had the Farmer's Benedict on this visit--artichokes, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms with poached eggs, basil Hollandaise, and whole wheat english muffin---which was even better than the description on the menu. My husband had the hot tea with his meal which came in a cool Rishi loose-leaf teapot. We'll be back again soon!More

Service was quick and we had a big group. People were friendly. Most in our group thought the food was good but I had a cheese omelette with hardly any cheese in it.

We stopped in for the 1st time around 10am on a weekday. The service to seat us and bring us water was fast. We ordered coffee which was less than mediocre like it had been sitting awhile. The omelet was huge but tasteless, potatoes not...hot. We split the breakfast and it was still $25. We will not be back. for the record the Elmhurst and Hinsdale locations are 100% better.More

A weekday mid-morning brunch w/family. Busy but not loud. Brief wait. A great variety on the menu. Pleasant, courteous staff. Generous servings. Enjoyed Texas French toast. Centrally located to other shops in the area. Well-worth a visit.

We stopped for breakfast when we attended Winterfest Snow Sculpting event in Feb 2018. My wife and I both had breakfast. It was very good and the coffee was good also. We enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere here. The service was also very good....We have recommended this restaurant to other people.More

Love the selections here, and especially the cauliflower/brussels sprouts skillet. Yum! Great way to begin the day. Coffee is always plentiful (they leave a pot on the table if there are several of you drinking) and served in pottery mugs. Difficult to make a wrong...choice here, but arrive early ---it gets busy on the weekends.More

This place is always great; the quality of the food and service is top notch. From scramblers to skillets to amazing French toast, this is the breakfast spot. Only complaint is the cooks are challenged with making eggs over medium 😖....but overall “great”.!!

Visited for lunch with a friend. Had the 1/2 sandwich, soup, salad combo. The Door County Chicken Salad sandwich was delicious and the Chicken Tortilla soup was very good. The service was outstanding. Would recommend this restaurant. Clean, well managed restaurant.
