Good food, good beer selection, friendly people, outdoor seating as well. Just South of Bar Louie and a great spot to watch a game.

Prairie Moon has been a fixture in our lives for some years, its a great place to bring the kids, have a nice date night or just tip some beers with friends. The menu has some excellent choices. Small plates to share, large plates to feast, a nice variety of salads and barbecue options. The New Mexico painted soup is... More
I probably would have given this restaurant a "very good" rating if I were just basing it on the food we ordered. Everything was quite good, very tasty. However, at 7 P.M. they were already out of one of the specials. No one refilled our water glasses or asked if we wanted a second drink the entire time we were... More
Very convenient to our Hotel and provided a discount as a result. The food was very good. We shared appetizer plates (like Tapas) the first night and salmon and asparagus were fantastic. We went back a second night and had the ribs and pasta, again both very tasty and well prepared. This is not a fancy restaurant but the choices... More
This is one of my favorite places in Evanston. The menu has a good variety of items for all tastes, but sometimes I like to just go to the bar with friends. The beer menu is fabulous! And the bartenders are interesting. Did you know they put out warm chocolate chip cookies in the late afternoons/evenings? Can't go wrong here!
Neighborhood family restaurant. The selection of beer is great - the food is mediocre. I prefer to sit at the bar because the restaurant design is a little bit outdated for me.

I went there with my son who is almost expert on food and double IPA. Beer selections is satisfying. Food was very tasty. I had pine nut crusted rainbow trout and my son had baby back ribs. mniam....mniam. Service people are very nice and very busy. It seems that at this time they could use another 2 waitresses. All over... More
Prairie Moon is located on a block with several solid restaurants. Prairie Moon offers regional American dishes, a lot of seafood, and seasonal menu. Vegetarian and gluten-free options. I like the selection of small plates. Lots of great options and reasonable portions. Excellent craft beer list. Decent wine list. The outdoor patio, in the shadow of the L tracks, gives... More
party of 7 were more than pleased with a variety of items offered by this combination pub/restaurant. Wait Staff were pleasant and efficient. Warm atmosphere. Would go there again!
