This restaurant probably caused Big Sammy s to close. The grandkids were very happy with the food and Grandpa got a cocktail too

Great place to catch a game and grab a bite. We were in from Toronto and the owner went out of her way to get a game on for us. Super friendly staff, good prices and great vibe.

In our quest to discover the best sports bars in the Chicago area, my wife and I have come to realize how competitive the market is, what sports bars do to attract more sports fans by expanding their menus and TV packages and game rooms. Take Coach's Corner in Elk Grove Village, for example. Located at 152 Biesterfield Road, at Cosman Road, in Elk Grove Crossing shopping center, it is a family-friendly Chicago Blackhawks-themed bar for pizza and other casual fare plus TV sports and live music. Open from 11 to midnight Monday through Thursday, 11 to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday an 11 to 11 on Sunday, Coach's Corner offers more than enough to keep sports fans entertained. Lead off with jumbo chicken wings, Wisconsin beer battered cheese curds, chips and salsa, potato skins, French fries, Bavarian hot pretzel sticks or mozzarella cheese sticks. If you're in a mood for pizza, choose thin crust, deep dish or Sicilian. The menu also features burgers, sandwiches, salads, pastas, wraps and flatbreads. On this occasion, the five of us arrived early for a Bears exhibition game. After sampling several appetizers, we ordered a 1/2-pound cheeseburger, patty melt, bacon cheddar burger, Italian beef and char-grilled Italian sausage. But that was only the first half. In the second half, as the Bears rallied, we couldn't resist a deep dish pizza, baked mostaccioli, spaghetti, a jumbo shrimp basket and a cod platter. Obviously, nobody left hungry. Or disappointed. The Bears won.

I went with friends on MLK day. We were the only ones at the restaurant part. Some good thing, and some not so good things. Wait staff had SIX minor children literally running around. I totally understand that kids have the day off and may not have a place to go, but it was annoying. Second negative Vegetarian options really do not exist. I asked if they had beyond meat or impossible burgers-they had never heard of the items. My friend had wings and tater tots. A very generous portion of tater tots. Wings were huge with lots of meat. My other friend had a burger, which she said was delicious. If you like pub food, this seems like a good choice. If you want vegetarian options, do not go here to eat.

I have been here for pizza, beef sandwiches, and hamburgers. My burger was awesome. Loved that it came with options. I got fries and beans. Monday night, the restaurant was quiet so my friend and I had time to visit.

Saturday special of ribs, with fries and Napa cabbage slaw. First stop on this trip through Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
Husband had the whole rack, I wimped out with the half: both were DELICIOUS.
The fries were crisp and spicy. No words for the tangy slaw except Excellent!
Sad that we won’t be back this way; but if y’all can get here you won’t be disappointed!

We were going to see "Aladdin" at a nearby theatre and we decided to pick up our tickets there and come to dinner before the movie at Coach's Corner. Though it was a Saturday early evening, we were seated immediately. There was more than enough staff and everyone seemed friendly. Jason, our server, was at the table quickly and brought our menus. We had pre-prepped the grandkids for their choices, so we were able to order their food immediately. Three of them ordered from the kids' menu. Two ordered spaghetti with a meatball and marinara sauce. One ordered the kids' two mini burgers, just plain with French fries. The fourth one ordered the 3 mini gourmet sliders with cheese. Jason brought the kids meals first which is what we wanted. We ordered a jr. cheesy beef and a meatball sandwich with cheese and garlic bread. Both of those were the perfect size for us. We still had some time to kill before we left for the movie theatre, so we ordered one pizzookie which is a chocolate chip cookie in a skillet with three scoops of ice cream. I'm not sure if Jason needed to bring six spoons, as the two of us got only one bite. Everything was tasty. The kids finished everything. The total price was reasonable for the six of us. Jason was quite personable, especially with the kids, as well as attentive and efficient.

I have to say, everything about this place was just average. Food was good but not great. Not noticeably fresh but certainly not old or stale. Service was adequate but uninspired. Atmosphere is, well to be truthful I can't remember. Prices are not high but not inexpensive. This is just right down the middle both times we have tried it.

Have been coming here off and on for years. The service is always top-notch and the food is always delicious. Their food prices are comparable to other places, but I think their bar prices are higher than most. Overall though I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

After seeing a movie at a nearby theatre, we stopped at Coach's Corner for lunch. We seated ourselves immediately and our server was right there with our menus and drink order. We immediately ordered the cheese curds and those came quickly. My three year old granddaughter ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with a side of baked beans. We ordered the cheese quesadillas. We also ordered a bowl of baked chili mac which was different and really good. Everything tasted quite good and was reasonably priced. There are more than enough TVs, both in the dining area and, especially, in the bar area. Our server, Donna, was very attentive, efficient and very personable.

The mozzarella sticks are an awesome different take on the traditional; quite delicious. The pizza was some of the best we've had. We chose Da Godmudder and a second pizza with Canadian bacon, spinach, mushrooms, and black Olives. We chose to try because of the high rating and coupon offer. Coaches corner will definitely be a repeat!

Coach's is a average sports bar, plenty of TVs and your usual bar menu. I hear people rave about Coach's but I don't see it being anything more than average with some items reasonably priced and some things seem high.

Great neighborhood bar!!! Perfect place to watch Hawks games. Has the Chelsea Grammar song and horn when they score! Best football pizza for $10!!!!

We have enjoyed coming to Coach's Corner and when we were in the area, we thought that we would try Coach's Corner again. It is located in the Elk Crossing shopping center, so there is plenty of parking in the lot. They have an outdoor dining area which is good for those nice days. The staff is efficient and very personable. Coach's Corner has a great menu, and I only wish that we had our grandkids with us to try the mozzarella sticks, as they are really, really good. We ordered the Italian trio which is a mini sausage sandwich, a mini beef sandwich and a mini meatball sandwich. Prices are very reasonable. There are a lot of TVs to enjoy a variety of sports.
