I like the smaller mexican joints that have a little flavor. Ordered the 3 tacos but was disappointed that it was almost $8-$9 with the refried beans. The food was OK but for almost $10 after taxes it lost some of its luster, probably won't be back

Great large steak burrito for a decent price, good and quick service, great business hours. Will be one of my regular stops.

We have been going to La Posadita in Chicago for 30 years. Tony who we knew there, opened this restaurant in Des Plaines and it hasn't lost anything. Great Mexican food served fresh. Not sure why another reviewer said they microwave the food. Yes, they microwave the taco tortillas which is perfect for tacos. We live in Wisconsin but if... More

Love this place... kind of grimy, but they serve up some delicious steak burritos and chile relleno tacos. Definitely the most authentic in the area.

I saw on Trip Advisor that this restaurant was highly recommended so I went there. It was not good, it was over priced and the cook put everything in the microwave. One of the worst meals I have ever eaten.

I have not found another taco place around des plaines that has barbacoa, this is the only place that cooks it to perfection. It's flavorful and super tender, amazing tacos, sopes and burritos and it's not too crazy on you wallet either. I reccomend this place

If you've got the taste for real authentic fast Mexican, this is the place. The place is a real hole in the wall, but the food is outstanding. Yum.

The food is great (typical burrito shack food done very well). The restaurant is shoehorned into a small building with only a few seats and a bathroom that you have to access through the kitchen. The sink for the bathroom is outside the toilet stall in the kitchen itself, and a cooler drains into the sink. There was a pile... More
