My family and I (including an infant) ate at the Lincoln Inn, a typical old-fashioned small town diner on main street in Dekalb on a Sunday morning. We arrived at 9:30 and were seated immediately but the place was full by the time we left. It seemed like many people were locals (always a good thing in a restaurant!) as... More

Excellent food and a reasonable price. Very high quality. Can't beat the homemade toast. Bakery items were awesome. If you plan to eat here, wear your comfy pants because you're going to need some extra room.

This is a wonderful stop for a homey breakfast, whether you want eggs, homebaked muffins (especially the cranberry ones), or the freshest fruit cup in town.

A great place with many 'regulars' from town. That says it all --when the locals eat there it must be good

Visited for lunch with colleagues and was impressed! Small diner type feel and I tried the tuna melt which came highly recommended from the people I was with. It did not disappoint. Large portions and I loved the tuna melt. Although the server grabbed cups from the top and rim which grossed me out the experience was overall enjoyable and... More

The Inn has great service, homemade breads and good solid food. I have only had breakfast and lunch there. I can say I have never been disappointed.

I went to the " other breakfast " place which was very good. It was hard to beat but this place may have. Completely different feel. Someone else mentioned the bread wow ! If you like Tip Top or Wonder bread, this is not the place for you. Unfortunately I will not be back in that area for a long... More

A good place. Good food, good service, plenty of variety on the menu. Parking is on the street, and not too bad if you park on a side street or in one of the city's public lots. We like to go here for a local, non gain experience.

You know how often you watch a travel or food show, and they stop in at some unassuming place slightly off the beaten track, only to sample genuinely good, home cooked food? This is one of those places. It's a bakery, and a real one with hearty breads rather than nothing but doughnuts and glazed rolls. The interior is modest,... More

Once upon a time there were dry goods stores, hobby shops and drug stores along this busy main street. Now only bars, a coffee place and this fun bakery mark the relentless march of civilization make the walk along main street somewhat interesting. It's a bakery, but serves a pre-dawn breakfast well worth the memory of farmers who once came... More
