Dukes is in a cool old building in downtown Crystal Lake. They have outdoor seating and seating on two floors inside. They have live bands at night and it's a good place for lunch or dinner. My husband loves thee burgers and hand cut fries. I love the salads. The salad on the menu is the goat cheese salad which... More

Great restaurant in Crystal lake. Has a great selection of beers and a place for vegetarians. Close to Metra train. Entertainment on the weekends.

The food was good, I had a Cuban sandwich on a pretzel bun with roasted sweet potatoes. The service was slow. We waited a while for our food and our drinks.

Always a great place to go. Lots of beer to choose from, and excellent food choices. There's a deck outside for warmer times of the year.

Long time customer of the team at Duke's. They have done a great job of keeping the place current and updated; changing menu and focus to adapt to crowd. Its not going to please everyone but at least its not boring and predictable. Bar still could use a remake; needs more space. The dining areas, especially upstairs is great and... More

First, I would like to retract my review of August 12th, 2015, as a lot has just changed. Next, please read AJREINa's recent review (1/9/17). IT IS SPOT ON, and I echo his hope that the owner is reading the reviews. I have very specific complaints about my visit yesterday for lunch, and returned today to discuss them with Zak,... More

The one great thing about this restaurant historically - besides its great beer menu - has been its cool food offerings. Lots of creative items with plenty of 'farm to table' and locally sourced options to keep all those hipsters and eco-conscious millennials paying the premium for quality ingredients. But lets put all that aside. Something bad happened during the... More

We love Duke's local sourcing and fairly healthy options. We have had mixed experiences with the service. It is often very slow and bit nonchalant. It can be quite noisy in the main dining room especially when there is live music. I don't like yelling over music when I am out with friends and family. We enjoyed Pub Trivia.
