I come here for the biscuits!! Oh so yummy! But everything else is good! The service and employees is great!

Delicious food! Excellent service! COFFEE BAR!!The place is super cute too! We had eggs Benedict and pancakes and highly recommend both.

First of all, tripadvisor says it is not in Crest Hill, IL. Well, it is and I had breakfast there on Jan 14, 2020. I had the Lumberjack. It was HUGE and perfect! My wife loved her blueberry pancakes. Tried this amazing restaurant for breakfast. Large family style, with a huge menu. My granddaughter’s, waffle & chicken tenders, chocolate chip pancakes. Avocado omelette, with a huge biscuit the size of a baseball, light and fluffy. So many items to choose. This tops my list...for favorite breakfast, lunch restaurant.More

If you visit this restaurant & you like omelettes & biscuits & gravy you must try “the biscuit”!! This is a biscuit & gravy omelette & is amazing! They also have the best homemade biscuits. I have never had lunch there but am sure they...probably have great lunch as well! Very friendly staff & decor is cute & homey!More

Well all I can say is what a disappointment The Southern is.... I ordered biscuits and gravy and when they came out I felt they were a bit lacking in the amount of gravy. So I asked the server for a bit more. No biggie,...right? Well, I was wrong. We get the bill and we were charged for an extra side of gravy which is insane. I mean it was biscuits and gravy, they should’ve had plenty of gravy included in the price. This is were it gets worse. I mentioned it up at the counter before we paid and I stated I thought it was a bit out of line charging for something that should’ve been ample in the first place. All I got was a “well that’s how they come” and a not so meaningful apology. He never offered to make it right. Kept the “is what it is” mentality. So I’m sorry, at this point you correct the issue for the customer in hopes of fixing the situation. Had this happened I would gladly patronize their business again, but due to lackluster service and non existent customer service I will never go back!! There are plenty of other breakfast places around with better food and customer.More

will never step foot in this restaurant again. When it was Southern Belle's it was a fabulous restaurant. The last two times we were in this establishment, you can tell management has changed. The first of the two service was low and bad attitude was...high. This week we had friends in from out of state. So we thought, yeah lets go here. NOT!. From the attitude of the server as I was waiting for my party to arrive to the FILTHY silverware to the no response from management about it, it was embarassing. Worse yet was when we asked to speak to a manager about it, (Seven sets of filthy silverware), none was to be seen. We just left and went to a great place down the street, Big Apple Pancake House.More
