I was a little put off at first as the restaurant is in the 900 Michigan building and is connected to the mall. The mall was very empty but Frankie's was busy. We were seated quickly even though we were 30 minutes early for a reservation. The had a kids menu and a crayon for the little guy and everyone... More

My wife and I discovered Frankie's Scaloppine by accident. We were shopping at Bloomingdale's and the 900 North Michigan mall when we took the escalator to the fifth floor to see what the restaurant level was all about. There was Frankie's, a cozy Italian eatery that offers a variety of scaloppine dishes, fresh pastas, salads and more than 14 varieties... More

After a long museum day and tired feet and legs we ventured here for dinner. My husband liked his pizza and I enjoyed my eggplant parmesan. The service was quite good. Bread came with olive oil and my husband tried it (after 15 years I've made him a food snob) asked if it was extra virgin olive oil or a... More

Followed Trip Advisor to Frankies. Have visited probably 100+ times over the last five years. Always good service and tasty food. Pretty much classic Italian American, but what's to complain. Visit and enjoy.

Ate here with by family before Christmas. Three of our group enjoyed their pastas. The other two were disappointed. My son did not like his chicken, and my white fish was sub-par. Since the whitefish at Pescara, another one of this chain, is outstanding, this was a major disappointment. Discounted parking is a major plus for this place.

Our party of 12 was served very well last week. Our water glasses and the baskets of bread with Olive Oil to dip were constantly being filled. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (for Italian in Chicago). Our waitress was excellent, and our meals came out rather quickly. Our family dinner was great!

I met a friend for lunch, and as usual requested a booth for a quieter conversation and not open for all ears. The fennel pizza was fantastic as was the Italian salad. Owner Francis runs a good show and makes sure that all guests are taken care of. Five stars.

A very good italian food for the whole family. They give you some Olive oil to taste at the beginning. Pizzas and pasta are very good. I strongly recommend it.

Needed somewhere quick after a long train ride. This is on the fifth floor of an indoor mall. We sat in the bar to watch the game . Very friendly and accommodating bar tender/ waiter. Thin crust pizza. Nicely done. The small was more than enough for a meal. I had the truffle pizza with egg. It was very yummy.... More

Our family went to Frankie's after visiting 360 Chicago. It's about a 2 minute walk from the John Hancock. We chose to eat in the atrium which has windows that overlook Michigan Ave. Three of us ordered pizzas which were all very good. One ordered a special of short rib ragu. Meat was tender and the pasta cooked perfectly. Meatballs... More
