Best thing, the wine...very nice Pinot noir! I started with the lobster bisque which was very tasty but much too much salt. Veal with lemon butter sauce it would be great if the noodles didn't appear to come out of a can. In summary, I won't be returning when you pay 25 bucks for an entree you expect it to... More

We first visited Cafe Bionda with our daughter and her boyfriend, who had recently moved into the South Loop neighborhood. Since we were there on a Wednesday, we all ordered the Wednesday special, lasagna. It was amazing. Our daughter's boyfriend is now her husband, and their oldest child is almost 5, and we still love Cafe Bionda, but were never... More

We were a party of 8 for dinner after a meeting. Appetizers for the table were prompt and tasty. Wine recommended was excellent (Kim Crawford Sauvingnon Blanc). Chicken parm could have served 3 people! My chicken marsala was delicious. Nice atmosphere and attentive service.

Very nice menu, mid ranged prices. Cozy feeling with wonderful food! Definitely worth going to and staff was very friendly. The man working the valet flagged down a taxi in the pouring rain for us!

Had a large party of 18 for a dinner meeting. The service was excellent. Andrea did an amazing job. Food is very good, with large portions. After array of appetizers and salad, many people chose an appetizer for their main course, and they were large too. Debbie and Jacqueline were a big help in making all the arrangements. The private room... More

Cafe Bionda is an exquisite restaurant which serves authentic Italian dishes and is by far the best in Chicago and suburbs. The meatball salad appetizer is incredible. The Linguine, Shrimp and Broccoli is my favorite meal, served to perfection and the Veal Marsala is so flavorful and melts in your mouth. The service is impeccable and you are always treated... Our dinner was for a group of six. We had appetizers and main course. The portions were enough that we didn't order desert. We had a variety of entrées, steak, seafood, pasta, and seafood. Everyone claimed to have the best dish. We visited several restaurants this week but this one is the one not to miss. They even drove is... More

Perhaps because it was fairly late and the kitchen was about to close, the fare did not live up to the enthusiastic recommendation of our concierge at the Hyatt.
