About
Prime & Provisions celebrates the simplicity of true steakhouse cuisine and prides itself on its' mission: to source the absolute best domestic beef available in the United States. Prime & Provisions' is the only steakhouse in Chicago to serve USDA Prime Creekstone Farms 100% All Natural Black Angus Beef, humanely raised, with no hormones or antibiotics. While the menu reconnects with traditional steakhouse roots, the decor highlights the vintage opulence of 222 North LaSalle's "Crown Building" and creates a social experience that connects the modern-day patron with the sophistication and glamor of the era in which the building was first constructed. Prime & Provisions also offers a variety of private and semi-private dining spaces, including Prime Private, one of the largest and most intimate private dining rooms in Chicago.

From beginning to end Prime was a class act during this visit. The lobster bisque was creamy and delicious and the tuna tartare we had as an appetizer one of the best we’ve had. The filet temps were perfect for each of us and the...More

First impression was that the hostesses were totally unorganized and needed more training. We were taken to a table that still hadn’t been cleared. The sommelier Michael was amazing and totally made up for it. The turkey buffet was fantastic. I was really disappointed with...More

Inspired by the supper clubs of the 1920s, Prime & Provisions offers something of everything in sharp contrast to most restaurants today that prefer to focus on one concept--breakfast and lunch, hot dogs, pizza, steakhouses, fast-food, sushi, seafood, Thai, French, Italian, German, Japanese. Located at...More

Our group closed the downstairs for a large dinner, which they can easily accommodate and do with style. It was a stand, eat, greet affair, so I'll not be able to tell you much about table service, but the atmosphere is classic, top-shelf, old city...More
